thinking about adam sitting wherever he got sent to after god killed everyone, just waiting for michael to come get him, but he never does. adam is left believing that michael abandoned him and he'll never know the truth.

#woefully glances at the incomplete 50k+ fanfic in my drafts of michael finally coming back from the empty after YEARS and having to deal #with the fallout of this situation exactly. that i'm never gonna finish #one thing that always got to me was that. it wasn't like adam had ever been to north cove (where michael died) before #if he comes to the conclusion that michael's dead....he'll realize that that's where michael died. that's his grave. in a sense #fun times all around. y'know #adam milligan

also michael literally let lilith get away with rubbing up on adam. did you guys see her hand when she first put it on his shoulder the way she was getting alllllll up in his business. first of all HOW did she get away with that second of all the fact that she did that to him thinking it was MICHAEL……

i just know adam romanticized a freezing, whiteout minnesota winter while in the cage because he was just so homesick. he was slowly losing his memories of snow days out of school and building tunnels through the snow as a kid for hours on end. only coming back inside, head to toe drenched, when his mom would call for him that dinner and a hot chocolate was ready. adam would relay these memories to michael in the cage to keep them from being forgotten for good. and then adam and michael are all of a sudden free and michael, who could tell just how much these memories of home meant to adam, takes adam up to minnesota in the middle of january for the true, authentic experience.

and adam is grateful for all of five minutes before he's like, "yeah... so back to cairo next or? maybe cancún?"

thinking about those lines from 11x01 again. "it's just—something happened, sir. in the cage. [what?] uh, they said it sounded like a frightened animal. all of hell heard—like someone was going crazy. the rumor is that michael or lucifer—one of them is trying to warn us." like why did they never address that. WHY. and then they go down and see lucifer and lucifer says michael had gone crazy which directly implies that michael was the one who made that sound. loud enough that all of hell could hear. what HAPPENED down there

michael and adam are like if two characters in a fanfic got pulled into some sort of zombie apocalypse AU with no way back and they eventually just went "well alright then" and made lives for themselves in the zombie apocalypse world and then one day the author writes them getting pulled back into their original universe with zero warning and that's when they realize that their lives in their original universe sucked so much more actually
