Ruby Rose is ADHD

evidence: she acts extremely similar to me and nearly all of my personality is somehow influenced by my adhd

(more serious rambling below cut, if i can figure out how to do it on mobile)

(i cant so here we are)

Ruby would be great ADHD representation! She has a lot of the more minor traits of ADHD that people don't recognize if they don't have it rather than the stereotypical ones if that makes sense? Like, she totally hyperfixates on weapons. And the way she's always rambling while at Beacon is painfully relatable to me! I just can't keep my thoughts inside my head. She's also pretty much constantly moving - even when sitting she seems to move around or fidget quite a bit. Also while it can be chalked up to her lack of geography knowledge theres the fact she thought it would take a couple weeks to get to Mistral... ADHD people have real difficulty with time sense, I know it's nearly impossible for me to estimate how long something will take. And you can't deny she's impulsive as hell. Plus there's so little ADHD representation, it would mean so much to see a character like me who I identify so strongly with being a hero and saving the world. (Yes there's Percy Jackson but I feel like their ADHD is different from mine. I never really identified with them or felt like they were like me although I only read the first three books. Ruby is someone whose ADHD manifests a lot like mine and it would mean the world to me for her ADHD to be canon.)
