Many people follow the egoistic pattern of stupidity which is nothing short of evil, if one is able to judge by its results. Today more than anytime in the past more and more people are taking titles of Guru, Satguru, Sri 1008, Sri 108 etc. There sole aim of them is to become a Guru by any means. What one cannot understand is one cannot try to become a Guru. It is the most impractical aspect for it is not possible. Guru is a upadhi, a title that comes not held on by one. It will happen without your asking or trying, it is the effortless experience emerging from the depth of the one seeker who holds high esteem for one He believes and surrenders. The one tries to become one will lose out for one is not tuned within oneself and without tuning within oneself one cannot be. This tuning emerges from Dhyana. Dhyana is becoming the unbecoming, it is dismantling the core to a level where the existence of the core merges with the consciousness of truth only. Only in that state one gives the power to others, one needn't work for it. Just being in presence of one merged allows others to gain the power of complete satisfaction.
