Animals suffer arguable more in the dairy and egg industries than in the meat industry. The reality is that they all suffer tremendously. Veal exists because of the Dairy Industry. All Male baby chicks are ground up or suffocated alive on their 1st day of life in the egg industry. All animals are slaughtered at young ages in all of these industries. Dairy cows live the longest (4 or 5 years), and only to have their reproductive systems abused their entire lives until they are brutally slaughtered to become cheap hamburger meat. If you are truly against animal abuse, vegetarianism does not align, as dairy and egg production are built upon animal suffering, abuse, rape, and slaughter.
