My friend's commission sheet. She drew my character (on the left) and she looks awesome!!
Give her some support if you can, or a reblog is also super duper appreciated!! 🥰
I decided to finally make a commission price sheet!! It’s been long over due! Commissions help me become a better artist, and try things I never would! Hit me up if you’re interested!!

I tend to use AI as a brainstorming partner, NOT a source of information. People have written essays using AI and the sources were completely MADE UP. (In these cases, however, the person was literally copying and pasting everything the AI gave them word for word. This is NOT what AI should be used for)
If you wish to use it in an academic setting, proceed with EXTREME caution. It should NEVER write anything for you, but instead should only be used to give you ideas on where to start. You must do the work yourself. AI is not a short cut.
Think of it as another classmate or friend. It's helping you, not doing the work for you.
It is basically just another silly little (non)human being, and you can not believe anything it says to you without doing your own research. It can only give you ideas to get you started
Research is still VITAL.
And it is still PLAGIARISM to copy anything that an AI gives you
ChatGPT Guide for Writers
Do: ask for help brainstorming
Don't: steal ideas exactly as they're given to you or without adding any input/original ideas of your own
Do: ask for writing tips
Don't: trust the bot 100%, or take its word without doing more research on your own
And ESPECIALLY don't: ask it to write something for you and then copy & paste/steal that writing as your own
I don't believe that we should avoid using AI at all costs, but I do think we have an ethical duty to use AI responsibly.
You can use it as a tool to learn. A tool to brainstorm ideas. A tool to enhance your own work.
But remember that AI learns off other people's input.
Do not steal.
An AI's work will never be unique without YOUR creativity mixed in

Another tip: don't paste any of your documents into ChatGPT or other AI programs unless you are okay with it learning from your work/adding it to its database

I love this idea OP, but I also (based on personal experiences) want you to make sure the lack of motivation isn't coming from burn out!
Sometimes, a break from even thinking about your work can be good.
However, if it's just a matter of needing a little push, then heck yeah! You got this! Don't think too much about making the first draft perfect, just write whatever comes to mind
Best of luck!!
ok so i decided to try this bc everyone else is doing it and i seriously need motivation, so hello
if you get this to 15k (fuck that is a terrifying number, can you tell that I'm trying to make this absolutely impossible for you guys) by new years eve then i will finish the first drafts of:
my wlw christmas friends to lovers slow burn romance (it literally takes them like 8 years to get together)
my gay prince fantasy enemies to lovers mistaken identity forebidden romance
my dystopian queer found family extremely dramatic assassin story

I have great news for people who are currently procrastinating on editing their books:
I waited like a full year to start working on draft 2 and it's made cutting things out and rewriting stuff SO MUCH EASIER.
No emotional attachment to draft 1
If I don't know what I'm talking about/I've gone off topic, I can just cut it
I can skim to get the gist of draft 1 and make it more concise in draft 2
I get annoyed when I slide in backstory that doesn't matter at that moment so I just cut it out, save it for later, or decide if it really matters and whether I can just get rid of it
I can pace character introductions better based on whether I'm getting overwhelmed or not

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Writers attempt to write an entire novel in ONE month, or 50,000 words.
I'm also down to make a game out of it: like 1 follow is +50 words, a sub is +500, etc.
And maybe we start each morning doing my animal crossing dailies?
Then we write. Then take a food break. Then play some other games later in the day?
Thoughts?

Literally cannot emphasize enough that my #1 writing advice is to stop being afraid. Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.
