sorry I talk about this all the time, but you guys have got to start being comfortable with forming your own interpretations of good omens instead of getting neilman to spoon-feed you the meaning of every line and every frame. I genuinely don't think it's good for you, and I'm not being hyperbolic, I really think it's messing with your ability to close read fiction and make meaning out of stories yourselves. it's strange that on a website that's obsessed with both Death of the Author and with being someone who did well in english class at high school that your excitement and enjoyment and willingness to form your own thoughts on good omens is non-existent literally just because the author is here. we should not have this much constant, instant access to an author's thoughts on his own work. it's really fucking bizarre. "neil confirmed..." why do you care? why do you think that suddenly makes it more real than you just thinking it on your own? stop asking neil if it would be pretty please okay if you interpreted a line a certain way. just interpret it that way. jesus christ.

I wanted to do a lot more writing in between Christmas and New Years BUT, now I'm involved in a little project at work that's using some of that time!

(I work at a library, we have a podcast. They're covering horror and asked me to be on the episode since I read a lot of horror. And we picked a book to both read so we know we'll have something to talk about. So I've been preparing for that! It's Winterset Hollow. And it's been? Chewy? So far)
