“Photography excites me. I enjoy documenting moments but lately I’ve become more interested in just seeing what I can do with a camera. Interesting colors, textures, light, and ideas are things I like capturing. I was reading an interview with my favorite photographer, Tim Davis, and he made the point that there were two ways to make photographs. One way would be to have a style and going out to make photos and then coming home to edit them. The other way would be to have an idea and make expressions of that idea. Lately, I’ve been leaning towards the latter.”
