Text Me When You Get Here
The 16th catalog release from Fallen Love is a collection of home recordings from the spring of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Artists from seven different countries reach out to us from under a global lockdown with songs about quarantining, loneliness, wanting to be comforted, longing for a phone call, and reflections on everything they’ve done.
Text Me When You Get Here is available now from our Bandcamp.

“values monetary” by the art form unknown (2004).
Recent forays into indie pop compilations led me to Asaurus Records’ “For Whom The Casio Tolls” compilation, based on the novel idea of including songs recorded only on kiddie keyboards. It’s no gimmick, though, the entire album is really rather good, with tones ranging from goofy to moody. This track caught me by surprise however, and it’s the only song attributed to this group on Discogs. Have fun with it!

“told yah (not to wait)” by andrew kaffer & mark monnone (2020).
i live my life on hawai’ian time
baby, you better believe it
Kissing Book being one of my favorite rainy day/summer day indie pop projects, I always keep my eye on things that Andrew Kaffer releases. I didn’t notice this one slip past me last month, a charming collaboration between Kaffer and The Lucksmiths’ Mark Monnone. With Monnone’s groovy riff and their combined vocals with due falsetto, this is the closest I’m gonna’ get to riding out the Coronavirus pandemic feeling like I’m on a tropical island. As usual, Rocketship’s helmsman Dustin Reske produces, and honestly, this sounds very much like one of his songs.
