My pain fuels this pathetic venting. My fate feels sinister, unrelenting; like a barnacle suckered to the hull of a boat. I wear a spiny shell; sulking in it's protective coat

I crash through waves,  I see the skies.The clouds part,  and the sun clears my eyes.  It’s like I’m here but just under the surface, void of value, desire, or even a purpose.

We use it to describe our most basic ways and how things have made us feel, as a whole. This collection does a stunning job of showing us just how true that is. We see our authors emotions and the way they view the world through their words and verses. Reading it connects you to yourself in the most astounding way. The uniqueness of going through parts/levels almost made it feel like the end was so far yet so close. I found myself flipping the pages as fast as my eyes would let me.
