Thanks to Jan’s inexhaustible support, his bottomless wealth, and general lack of self as a young adult, Avengers Academy Tony goes thru like every TikTok fashion aesthetic* to try and “find himself”

Steve has many visual artist based opinions, is perplexed by the whole thing but is generally supportive** of his dear… classmate

*(ie: pastel goth, dark/light/cozy/etc academia, e-boy, cozy core, etc)

**(Since Tony buys proper, well made, and expensive cloths he then donates when he’s done with a look Steve has no moral objections to the fashion journey, just some aesthetic and convenience based objections, like Tony’s so busy with Jan outfit planning to go for a walk around the campus with Steve half the time now)

Awwww! I personally would do not together anymore, and Tony was the one to break them up (bc he felt too shitty to deserve Steve, with a side of iron-man-related guilt complex).

I also fuggin love the sleepy partner trope(?). like, it would be unreasonably high on my tier list. idk I just rlly like people feeling safe with each other!! And I too have a small obsession with Tony’s hair.

Reminded me of this clip (16:12 time stamp). Background, the 2 people in these clips are now married Art YouTubers that were co-workers from College Humor that started streaming together because they were buddies. This exchange kills me every time because this is before they ever even dated

So when he asks, “hey are you interested in anyone right now 👀”

And she replies, “yes and I will die with that information before I tell them”

While looking at the very person she will marry is SO funny, and he confirmed he was trying to see if he should ask her out and she hits him with that response

also the earlier her going, “idk when people are interested in me they need to just say “yo lets’s date” or else I won't get it!”

And she’s like “yeah like that or else I would totally miss it.”

YES. And, fighting off a blush and staring off anywhere but at that half-smug, half-giddy face inches from his, Tony would say, "Yes, yes. You're very strong. Now let me up."

With a grin, Steve'd reply, "Sure thing!" and hoist him over his head.

Tony'd roll his eyes and grumble, "Show off."

"This isn't showing off. I'm showing you off," Steve'd correct him before yelling, "Everyone, look at this marvel of a man!!"

And Tony would have about five stunned seconds of cheeks heating before Steve'd start tossing him in the air again and again like pizza dough.

Either in a humorous way, where Steve gets a bee in his bonnet about being so small atm and tries to do it, to prove he still can, in the tower as the team eggs him on

Or angsty where he has to try and drag an injured Tony to safety. (Maybe made even harder if Tony still has som armor on)

In the first one: He's taking off his safety glasses (Yes, Tony made himself a pair of gucci-ass, maroon-tinted safety glasses. ...well really I just didn't feel like struggling to get the shape of clunky safety goggles right.) after an invention he didn't think would work actually fucking works, like (softly) "...holy shit." Then after a few moments of stunned silence, "hOly SHIT."

OR A special someone's walked into the lab, and he's getting his glasses out of the way of the view.
