Thinking about Hu Tao and Kazuha again....

I barely see anyone talk about them anymore I miss them so bad can we talk about their friendship potential. Can we PLEASE talk about their potential.

I wanna see Hu Tao visit the Alcor and have dinner with the crew and her and Kazuha bounce poetry back and forth off each other and I want Hu Tao to show Kazuha all her favorite little haunts with that little silly hop in her step she always has. I want them to go fishing together and Hu Tao falls asleep due to being comfortable and Kazuha doesn't have the heart to wake her up, so he watches both fishing rods and cooks dinner from their catch and they watch the stars come out that evening and just talk about anything and everything.

I want them to play more TCG together and just have a silly time ....

I want Hu Tao to put her hat on Kazuha just to see what it looks like and grin toothily and tell him he looks dashing and he just smiles like this c:

Kazuha teaching her how to play music with leaves like he does...them singing together randomly when helping with chores on the Alcor maybe..

Just. Them hanging out. Please.

Crumpling over I feel like Wanderer is too squishy in my drabbles he is like Jello....

I kind of just threw words down in excitement while writing and I didn't have a set timeline in my head either so there's that........

So uh. I do want to write again but I want him to feel more in character so if anybody has any tips!! Please tell me...

#my problem is i am squishy my heart is so soft and that spills over sometimes to the characters i write #i do think wanderer is gentler than he lets on but you gotta fight tooth and nail to see it #tbf also when i was writing it was with the idea he and furina had reached a point in their friendship they could both be vulnerable #but id like to flesh out the build up to it i had like. bits and pieces and fragments yk ... #i need to have him more prickly. i think that would help things #he's very uh... what's the word . aloof? #wanderer

i think after writing abt wanderer and furina and them just taking over my head my brain has started to shift from seeing them as platonic soulmates to potentially having them hold hands romantically... perhaps smooch a little bit...

or maybe they have like a more than friends less than lovers thing going on idk. is this anything. am i making sense.

#like i do very much like them as best friends but i've once again fell into friends to lovers #i think they'd just get each other after initial yk. banter. #i think about all the little parallels they have and go insane i need them to meet in canon so badly #i need wanderer to be her number one defender i need him to be ready to kill #jazz once again takes her faves and has them smooch. what else is new. #wanderer #furina #when is furina coming back i need to drag her to my account by the ankles #YOU WILL NOT ELUDE ME THIS TIME.

#god he looks so wistful here. #your artstyle is lovely i wanna cradle it in my hands.. #idk how to explain it but his theme started playing in my head looking at this i think it just. captures him very well. #i think it's because his theme sounds rather .. wistful? at least in the beginning? #like it does gain power so i think it's additionally supposed to show how he's deceptively strong; like water. the ocean is powerful #but it also is home. to so much life #the ocean is cold and unforgiving and yet it is also a safe place and at his core freminet is so gentle and caring #his heart's bigger than his body and he's a little weepy sometimes he's a sensitive little guy #full of love tho!! thinking so hard about how he believes in fairy tales and miracles despite everything he's been through #god i need to hug him. i love him so much i think he's written so well. his strength IS his heart i love characters like that #i rambled a lot can you tell im emotional #freminet

Finally got back into TCG after literally months of avoiding it ... there's a really good channel on YouTube explaining how to get better at the game (professorblep) and thanks to him I feel much more confident at the game. I was able to get Kokomi, Layla and Wanderer's cards yesterday, so I'll try and start building some teams around them!

#i went back and deleted all my decks except one and then i tested another out and kind of liked it so now i have two #one is xingqiu fischl collei and the other is layla xq kokomi....not sure how good either of those are but im learning #i definitely really really love the xq fischl collei deck tho they're my little goobers

i know these are classics, but oh well ( ´ ▽ ` ) ningguang x beidou, kazuha x wanderer, and xingqiu x chongyun!

Oh lord have mercy, I'm gonna get jumped. Aight.

Beidou and Ningguang is alright but I've seen so many people lose their minds when they get shipped with other people it's just soured things for me. I don't really ship Beidou with anybody - she's got her found family in the crew and she's happy, yk? I get why people like them, it just never interested me.

Yeah uh. I don't like Kazuha/Scaramouche, sorry. (It's especially painful because I love them both individually, just not as a pairing.) I don't see how it'd work in canon. Maybe in alternate universes where things never get wrong I could see them being friends or more than that, but as things are, no thanks. They're really cool as narrative foils, though.

Xingqiu and Chongyun are another ship I just never really got excited about - I think my weariness with it was some of the same issues with Beidou/Ningguang: people started biting if you shipped these two with anyone other than each other, and it felt like they could never be apart and actually appreciated yk, as characters, and not two halves of a whole. I don't care for it.

#as a general rule if it's a popular ship i often either don't care or don't like it unfortunately #due to mischaracterization #im in rarepair hell i got ships you ain't even ever dreamed of #ty for the ask please do not beat me up :“)
