Breaking Christmas bread (serbian: ломљење чеснице) is one of the customs that is carried out in a large number of Serb households, but also in squares all over Serbia, Republika Srpska & Montenegro. Traditionally, on every January 7th, the biggest česnica is shared on the Republic Square in Belgrade.
