so to set the scene, it’s vegas and be are drunk and vulnerable towards spending money, they see a psychic booth and inside is edward. edward makes them pay $10 to say he knows what they are thinking, while this happens, alice who is u see the table reads i to their future, edward being a mind reader sees what she sees, the person then pays another $10 to know their future. team work.

this gets them money because once their future actually does do what he says, they come back to find out more. and voila! MONEYYYY
