Neil not knowing what to discuss during interviews when he no longer has riko to roast like

hc that when robin and neil are roommates in neil’s last year, things get extra chaotic. i think robin probably takes to social media well (i feel like she likes things that give her a shield while still being able to be herself), so i think she’d have a snapchat where she has like most of the foxes + the three classmates she has befriended over her four years. she likes this private lil thing where she can share things that make her laugh or that just make her happy with the people she actually gives a shit about. robin didn’t get the hang of actually sharing her life with other people for a while, but she’s gotten a lil more comfy by her fourth year. andrew never liked being on camera anyway, but now, neil doesn’t give a shit–he probably goes back to being a lil more like his true chaotic form when andrew moves away–he doesn’t have that sturdy strength grounding him and keeping him together, so he’s a lil all over the place this last year, especially with it being such a stressful and emotional time. robin just loves filming the weird shit he does when they’re left unsupervised and sharing it with little to no context.

one night robin sneaks out of their dorm bedroom at 3am and finds andrew smoking alone in the dark. she doesnt need to ask why but she sits with him and comforts him in her own way 

(its not long after shes sent back to bed that she hears him climb into the bunk below where neil is)

i feel like a lot of people forget that nicky did not live in the same dorm room as kevin, neil, and andrew after neil's first year. it's not just aaron who moved out, nicky did too. this isn't extra content**, it's actually canon: at the beginning of chapter 16 of the king's men, wymack brought thea to fox tower and after she and kevin disappeared together, wymack brought up dorm room arrangements for the next year to andrew and neil. he'd found out from nicky that aaron and neil were exchanging rooms and because of the next year's lineup, the dorm arrangement would be maximum of three people in a room so he wanted confirmation of his assumption that nicky would be the other person to move out. i'm guessing this means nicky would be in the same room as matt and aaron, the golden trio in another, the same goes for the upperclass women, and then two rooms reserved for the freshmen.

**(what's extra content is the cousins along with neil and robin living in the same dorm room during the cousins last year at psu, at which point neil and andrew slept in the same bed so that robin could stay in the same room as them four while having a bed for herself)

it's not really a big deal and like i said, i feel like people just tend to not remember so it's whatever. and the only time non-compliance to this actually bothers me in post canon works is when it paves way for nicky to be all up in andreil's private business. at which point i just close the tab because what else am i going to do? lol anw there's no hot take here, just observation and a little bit of my reaction to it 💁🏻‍♀️

- renee has a tattoo of angel wings on her back

- initiation for the bloodhounds, the gang renee joined pre-stephanie, is to be raped by their eight commanding officers

- she was ten years old

- when kevin first joined the foxes, after his accident and before he became the assistant coach, he watched one of their games and "spent the entire weekend feeling humiliated on their behalf."

- nicky used to keep a diary written in unintelligible german while he was figuring out + coming to terms with his sexuality and it was supposed to help his fear and confusion

- in a previous version of aftg, both nicky and erik were jumped outside of eden's twilight

- they were both sent to the hospital, but while nicky survived, erik died

- andrew later killed the assaulters and showed nicky the newspaper clipping as proof

- castle evermore was the first fully built college exy court, followed by usc's, then penn state's

- seth once saved a blackout-drunk allison from a frat party and delivered her to dan and renee

- that was sort of the beginning of seth and allison's on and off relationship

- "He didn't do this," Allison said brokenly. "He called me. He called me not even an hour ago! He was drunk and rambling but he was happy for the first time in weeks. He was talking about how he finally thought graduating would be okay, about how he wanted me to help him look into grad schools. He wanted to go into social work and help people like he helps us."

She was crying again and fighting to speak through her tears. "I teased him and asked him how much he'd had to drink. He promised he'd stopped after we left him there. He said he talked to Neil, said that maybe he wasn't so bad after all and we'd have a good season for once. He wanted me to be his date for fall banquet. He can't just--he can't just lie there and not wake up. He can't, not when he finally wants to hang on. Why would he have--Abby, tell him he wouldn't have done this!"

The officer looked like he'd rather be anywhere but here right now. "Miss Reynolds, the doctor says he has a history of overdosing."

"No!" Allison shrieked. Neil flinched and hunched deeper into his coat, wishing he would sink through the sidewalk and disappear. He was afraid to look up at her and see that wild grief on her face. "I know he wanted to die! Everyone knows he wanted to die! Every time he said he was done with life I walked away from him and every time he came chasing after me. This is the first time--he wanted to live. He was going to stop drinking and come clean and maybe let me make an honest man out of him. A couple more drinks before he called me and he would have proposed, he said. Don't tell me that he's never waking up! No thoughts just the idea of Kevin "history nerd" Day being known by most of palmetto as that one kid who sits in the front and argues with everyone and writes 10 pages essays to prove people wrong, but he's ready to tutor people and critique essays and give full on lectures on increasingly obscure topics. Like he's an asshole, but he's also genuinely interested in learning and helping other people learn.

During morning classes will walk into class 5 minutes early with barely enough sleep (night practice), slump onto his desk and snap at anyone who tries to communicate with him for a solid 30 minutes. At least.

He is rude, arrogant, passionate, overly argumentative, makes too many notes and is an all-round asshole, but he knows his shit, so when he speaks, you listen.

(He especially knows a lot about lgbtq history. I wonder why. Such a mystery. I guess we'll never know.)

And the handful of classmates who follow exy, and they're used to his nice, charming public persona and its like, "is that Kevin fucking day??? Are we are its him. Are we sure that's not his evil twin. Like are we absolutely sure."

the original foxes, much less the new ones, never really saw Andrew and Neil hug. In fact, between all of them, they don’t think they had EVER seen them hug. Touches here and there, glances, them standing extremely close? Sure loads. The occasional Neil has his legs over Andrew at the team movie nights? Yep. Accidentally walking in on them making out? Absolutely. But a hug? Never.

That was until Neils last game as a Fox. All of the original foxes came and were sitting in the locker rooms (by luck of fate it was a home game) and they are all sitting around the chairs while the team finishes getting ready. Neil is of course, already prepared, but Andrew was late. Something about his flight being delayed and then traffic to the stadium being awful. Neil is fidgety. He knows Andrew is coming, knows he’ll be there to watch the game, knows he’s staying for the next week but Neil wanted to see him now. The foxes can tell he’s trying to pay attention to the conversation but his mind is elsewhere.

“Neil, he’ll be here”, Renee assured him as it was almost time to go out. The new foxes were starting to filter into the room.

“I get 50 dollars if he’s late, so I don’t mind”, Aaron shrugs.

Neil flicks him a glare and Matt nudges him. Before Neil can retaliate though.

“Like I’d give you the satisfaction,” Andrew says from the doorway.

Neil spins and locks eyes on him. The others thought he’d be effectively jumping with joy that Andrew was finally here. But instead, he simply relaxes, walks straight over and into Andrews arms. Andrew has one hand cradling Neil’s head, the other on his back and Neil’s arms are tight around him as he shoves his head into Andrews neck.

The new foxes, who are all in the room now, are gobsmacked. The originals, while not as taken a back, are still shocked at the tender display of affection.

“None of us bet on this,” Allison complains, “a good pool gone to waste!”

“Stop your whining, and quite acting like this is groundbreaking, it’s nothin’ new”, Wymack says as he enters behind, glancing up at Neil peeling himself off Andrews body.

“Wait, coach you’ve seen them hug before?!” Nicky asks.

“You’re telling me it’s been 4 years and you haven’t?”
