it all comes down to the fact that fandom truly is an ecosystem. we all interact with it differently, but it all has the same value. I know we’re all bad about being like “yeah that’s true for other people but what I do is less important” WRONG. whether you’re making gifs, art, amvs, fics, poetry, meta, fun tags, memes, shitposts, OR engaging with any of these things it all comes together to make a fun and interesting space that has depth and texture and it absolutely would not be the same if you removed any piece of the puzzle
