I’m watching this show & this guy reminded me so strongly of Haymitch. So, after having drifted away from the fandom (not the fandom’s fault in anyway but just that life got to me), I visited the hayffie tag. It’s so wonderful to see that there are still posts on the tag & that @ellanainthetardis is still writing hayffie fics! I’m going to get right down to business & start reading some of Karine’s new one Christmas one shots :))

So recently I accidentally fell into the world of Korean drama. I just finished hotel del luna & thought to myself “hmm, I can totally make this into a hayffie fic”

I’ve plotted it all out In my head. Gave Jo, Katniss & Peeta their backstory. But when it came to writing it out, I was not feeling motivated.

This has been my problem for a few years now.

I don’t watch Korean drama but everyone won’t stop talking about Crash Landing On You so I started.

& I can’t help but think about hayffie.

I feel that now, if I were to rewrite Consortium, it would have been written differently. Especially the part involving Effie’s pregnancy journey now that I’m experiencing it myself 😂

For example, when Effie felt the babies move and she grabbed Haymitch’s hand and he felt it too. ITS FAKE NEWS. I now know mothers always feel it first before movement becomes strong enough for anyone else to feel it.
