your childhood best friend suna rintarou is nervous. his stomach feels weird, stress isn't really his most common emotion. he never cares this much, especially about such a thing. he hasn't seen you in a whole year and despite still texting you every day even though you're far away from him, he's missed you a bit too much. much more than he used to before. he knows whatever's between you, what used to be completely platonic, has changed, at least for him.

he can't decide if his favorite shirt, the one everyone compliments him about, looks good on him now. when did he start overthinking your reaction to his shirt so much? since when does he feel the need to check his phone every few minutes for a new notification from you, even though your ringtone and notification sound is different from everyone else?

he thinks, knows that you still feel the same. you still think of him as your best friend. at least he hopes so. he already has to put up with not having you for himself, he couldn't bear you calling someone else your closest friend. but still, those didn't stop him from buying you your favorite flower as a welcome back gift along with that new chocolate bar you told him was "absolutely DELICIOUS. i would spend my last ever money on it."

he doesn't want to tell you anything about his feelings because he knows you'll reject him. with that kind, soft voice tone you carefully choose and those doe eyes he adores so much. so no matter how much he yearns for your love, he decides not to act on it, so as not to ruin your friendship and lose you completely.

little does he know, you've also been dying to come back home and tell him about your feelings as soon as you can, and you're already in front of his door ready to hug him tightly when he opens it to go welcome you at your house.

miya atsumu is SO dramatic when he’s sick. (gender neutral reader)

as if he’s not dramatic enough already, he turns into the worst drama queen ever, even when he catches a simple cold. he’s constantly asking for kisses, completely ignoring your protests about not wanting to get sick because of him. he claims that he won’t be getting any better unless you give him a thousand kisses, not even with the delicious warm soup you made for him. no matter how hard you try to make him take his medicine he’ll give you SUCH a hard time. he makes a huge damn deal about swallowing the tiniest pill you have ever seen in your whole life. he makes you promise to cuddle with him before making you wait for ten minutes to swallow the said tiny pill. osamu makes fun of him for not being able to swallow something the size of an ant which makes things even worse. now you’re stuck with a sick and pouty atsumu.

sick atsumu means clingy atsumu. and i mean clingy. he’s trying to grab your hips as you try to take the empty dishes to the kitchen, pulling you on top of him and embracing you in a biiiig hug. he’s so annoying but so cute. you push him away when he tries to kiss you and he looks like he’s about to burst into tears.☹

there’s no way you won’t get sick because of him before he gets better. you can’t even get mad at him properly though, you love him too much.😿
