An average morning in the Jurdan bedroom:

Cardan: wow I had the WILDEST trauma dream last night.

Jude: the snake one again?

Cardan: no I was a little kid wandering the empty halls of the brugh calling out for my mother but I was all alone.

Jude: nice. In mine I was having tea with Madoc and I asked him for the sugar and he just straight up stabbed me. Also he was wearing Taryns earrings which was weird and then when I went to hit him I couldn't because we were in the Undersea.

Cardan: so random. Did I tell you about the one I had last week where it was basically a shot for shot remake of the coronation where my entire family was murdered but instead of being drunk under a table I was being beaten by one of Balekin's servants while Locke and Nicasia made out in front of me?

Jude: hahaha, so harsh. Sometimes I'll dream about someone breaking into my bedroom to murder me but he's like a mix up of Valerian, Balekin, and Locke and I can never find my knives.

Cardan, patting her hand: I know how much you hate it when you can't find your knives. Shall I order breakfast?

I will always accept the fact that Cardan has a tail and Oak has hooves. I refuse to pretend Cardan's tail and Oak's hooves dont exist.

They arent human. Theyre fae. Of course they have characteristics that arent human 😐. And no, its not disgusting.

Explanation: Changes in the alluring solar corona are detailed in this creative composite image mapping the dynamic outer atmosphere of the Sun during two separate total solar eclipses. Unwrapped from the complete circle of the eclipsed Sun’s edge to a rectangle and mirrored, the entire solar corona is shown during the 2017 eclipse (bottom) seen from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the 2023 eclipse from Exmouth, Western Australia. While the 2017 eclipse was near a minimum in the Sun’s 11 year activity cycle, the 2023 eclipse was closer to solar maximum. The 2023 solar corona hints at the dramatically different character of the active Sun, with many streamers and pinkish prominences arising along the solar limb. Of course, the solar corona is only easily visible to the eye while standing in the shadow of the Moon.
