Are you named after anyone? Nope. My mom thought she'd give me an easy-to-pronounce name. Then, I moved continents... Now I have a German pronounciation, a French one, and multiple bizarre English ones (don't mention the spelling...)

When was the last you cried? Monday night, briefly.

Do you have kids? yes, one. The best one, in fact!

What sports do you play/have you played? cycling and fencing, with brief stints in judo and basketball (see "height" below)

Do you use sarcasm? Who, me? Ha. Never!!!!!

What is the first thing you notice about people? Eyes and smiles. Roots out the creeps and fakes really fast...

What is your eye color? hazel

Scary movies or happy endings? happy endings. Life is scary enough!

Any talents? situational/contextual analysis, reading people and seeing through agendas. Also, cooking.

Where were you born? in a different country and on a different continent than where I live now (I have lived and worked in a total of six, so am a bit of a global nomad).

What are your hobbies? reading about politics and global affairs, writing fanfic, gardening, cooking

Do you have any pets? yes - a most adorable kitty cat.

How tall are you? 158 cms (total failure as an aspiring basketball player)

Favorite subject at school? good lord, that is soooo long ago... Does recess count? Actually, maybe religious studies. Because I declared myself an atheist in Grade 10 and was allowed to skip that class, so my best friend and I would go for coffee. In university, it was "Conflict of Laws" and "United Nations Law".

Dream job? To get paid for commenting on things in actually know stuff about.

Love me a fic that starts with the unresolved sexual tension already thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. I want my ship pining, yearning, and most definitely fantasizing.

I want their minds to wander to how hot the other person is, mid-sentence. I want them barely functioning because of all the hormones swimming through their brains. I want normally smart people who are downright dumb when faced with the smallest bit of barely revealed skin on the other person's body.

By the time they actually realize they're both in this state of tortured sexual desire, I want them to be at their wit's end and ready to flee the country in order to find the slightest scrap of control because there is absolutely zero control left when theyre in the same room together. They need to be scratching at the walls of their souls, they're so desperate for each other.

And when they do finally realize the fact that they're in this on-fire boat together? I want them to have incredibly hot, wildly cathartic (and not necessarily at-all realistic) sex that leaves them both exhausted, happy, and fully satisfied.

Unresolved sexual tension that gets completely fucking resolved, my beloved.

Either people need to learn how to tell the difference between an “I’m sorry” that takes direct responsibility and an “I’m sorry” that signifies sympathy, or I’m gonna start responding to unfortunate information with a solemn nod and a “Sympies,” because I am tired of receiving a “Why? no because the bone i have to pick with marvel over the development of female characters. why do we only explore their characters when they’re dead, or going to die. seeing maria in such a personal way with her glasses on and minimal makeup just for her to die? getting black widow when natashas already dead? exploring wanda’s character when they make the switch to villian/anti-hero? not when she’s trying and she’s hurting? but steve has three movies, and bucky has an entire backstory, and we just keep adding onto tony’s long list. these women are constantly a second thought, or a last resort to boost engagement, and i’m sick of it.

Natasha is halfway out the door of the firing range when Barton says it. It sounds casual, like he’s tossing out an idea that just occurred to him. But there’s something in his tone – some vague undercurrent of purpose – that makes her feel certain this idea did not just occur to him. So she stops short and turns around slowly, one foot still inside the room and one foot out the door.

“Where’s out? And who’s us?”

Three Hydra soldiers slithered out onto the roof. The leader, Elliot Kohl, looked around, no sign of the Archer.

He jerked his hand forward. They crept around the corner and there he was, in position on the edge, bow drawn, laser focused on whatever target was below.

Kohl tossed a coin from his pocket to the far corner. Hawkeye didn’t flinch or look its way.

This would be too easy.

As they inched up behind him, Barton started to sing under his breath.

“The itsy bitsy spider...”

Commander Kohl stopped in his tracks and held up his fist.

“Slid down the water spout.” Barton continued slowly.

One word fell from Elliot’s mouth.

“Fuck.”
