TOH Character’s Greek Godly Parents
Eda & Lilith~
I’m honestly torn between Zeus or Athena, either would make sense. Both women are smart and strategic, maybe in different ways, but they definitely are. Lilith being more obviously so; studious, hard working, and clever. Eda is also very hard working, more stubborn then studious, and she is cunning. All those traits would fit children of Athena. But they’re both incredibly powerful and hot headed, fitting children of Zeus. Plus the way they battled in AOAW with all the lightning around then I’d tell tale Zeus.
Luz~
Another one where I could see two different ones, Hecate or Zeus. With Luz’s desperation to learn magic (and the references in the Azura books) the goddess of sorcery seems like a good choice. There are two major issues with that though: 1.) Hecate’s magic has been notoriously learned by Circe (the one who turned men into pigs) and Medea (the one who tried to poison Theseus), so generally they were considered not the best people. 2.) Camila is already known as Luz’s mother. So then Zeus would also be a pretty decent option. Luz has shown to be a magnet for trouble, she has shown to be a quick learner even if she was behind, and she’s shown she’s incredibly powerful. She’s heroic and brave, she’s has her morals but is incredibly loyal to her friends and family.
Amity, Edric, & Emira~
This one depends on a few things, if you think they all have the same godly parent I would say Nike. They all want to be/are the best, they want to win at everything they do. For Ed & Em it comes more naturally, while Amity has to work way harder for her victories. But I do think there are other, more accurate, godly parents, but that would make them half siblings (Odalia being their biological mother). Ed & Em would easily be children of Hermes, I don’t think I have to say more (TROUBLEMAKERS). Amity was a little harder but I settled on Hades. Since Amity can raise abominations the equivalent might be raising the dead. She’s also broody and sometimes hostile which is trademark Hades.
Boscha~
Ares... it just makes sense. Boscha is competitive, in more than occasionally a violent way.
Viney~
I settled on her being the daughter of Asclepius (god of healing). I didn’t really want her to be the daughter of Apollo because I think she would be in the Hunters of Artemis. Also Apollo is the god of medicine, prophecies, poetry/music, where as Asclepius is focused on healing. And the Hunters of Artemis are the closest thing to beast keeping
Willow~
She’s the daughter of Demeter, no arguing. I could see Demeter befriending her fathers and listening to them saying they wanted a child. So she kinda just made one out of both of their DNA (Hera and Athena did it so idk).
Gus~
I think his mother would be Athena. It makes sense since he is smart enough to be moved up to grades and has a passion for learning. Also since we have met his dad, Perry seems like the type of person Athena would be drawn to, he’s a reporter/journalist so he seeks out knowledge and the truth
Barcus~
I’m going to say Apollo solely because he is the god of prophecy. Barcus is definitely the quiet kid in the Apollo cabin though. He get prophetic dreams, a lot of times about his half siblings and friends, he stopped telling them after something tragic happened to someone he was close to.
Skara~
Another Apollo kid, just for a different reason. Hermes may have created the lyre but it since he stole Apollo’s scared cows in the process. Apollo was hella mad until he heard the music, they traded some stuff and Apollo got the lyre, becoming his musical instrument of choice. Long story short, Skara is musically gifted therefore Apollo would make sense as her godly parent
Jerbo~
At first I was thinking either Demeter or Hades but ended up deciding on Demeter, just because I could see him making a plant golem instead of raising the undead.

Friendships the Blight Siblings Need ~ pt 2
What we currently know about the Blight twins is pretty limited. They’re troublemakers and seem to only have each other as friends. They have differing personalities that make their characters much more interesting. There isn’t a lot of character development yet so as of right now this is all speculation.
Tumblr media
Edric
This boy has got to be the biggest goofball in the show so far. He tries to be smooth and cool but he’s a complete child. I think the writers could make him a more complex character by putting him in an authoritative role. For example he could be paired with Gus on a project for class. Obviously things go wrong forcing Ed to step up and take charge, and bonding with Gus in the process (I can see them having a relationship like Steve and Dustin from Stranger Things). They end up getting near perfect marks on their assignment and after Ed always seems to turn up for adventures with the gang (with Emira in tow much to her chargin).
Tumblr media
I could also see him getting introduced to the multi-track kids (because of Em, which I’ll get to later), and joining another track. He’s displayed a interest in animals as seen in Adventures in the Elements (“If we’re not gonna eat it, I wanna keep it as a pet”), and bond with Viney over it, eventually joining the Beast Keeping track as well. He’d still be a prankster, I could see him and his new animal companion wreaking havoc wherever they go, maybe getting Barcus and Jerbo involved cause he’d know if he asked Viney she’d scold him (side note: Jerbo would probably be a nervous wreck but go along with it).
Emira
Once again her character hasn’t been to developed so this is all pretty much speculation. So far she seems more responsible than Ed and quite a bit more sarcastic. But these are surface level traits that the writers could build off in a multitude of ways
Tumblr media
I could see her becoming interested in the multi-track kids solely because of their reputation, and maybe because she heard of Luz’s adventures with them. She’d go in thinking that she’s going to make friends with a bunch of delinquents similar to herself. Once she finally meets them she’ll see how wrong she was, they’re just kids who really like to learn. Barcus will read her aura and see how she’s actually super lonely (though she’d never admit it) and is super friendly towards her. Jerbo will follow his lead and end up befriending Emira as well. I think Viney will be hesitant at first, knowing the other girl’s reputation as not only a troublemaker but also a Blight. Emira would see this and resolve to get Viney to trust her (cue a montage with Em, Viney, and Puddles), maybe even becoming more than good friends (I see you Vinira shippers).
Tumblr media
The multi-track kids would probably be a good influence on Emira, making her take her classes more seriously and stop skipping as often. Maybe she’ll even join another track (I don’t know why but I could totally see her in the Bard track as well). Emira could become more of a role model figure and obviously more supportive sister.

Friendships the Blight Siblings Need ~ pt 1
It’s pretty clear that at least Amity’s relationship with her parents isn’t healthy, the same is probably true for the twins.
The show has demonstrated multiple times that Amity’s “friends” are bullies and honestly kinda vain. And with the twins, even in background scenes, they’ve only been around each other. All three of them have shown that they’re talented magic users and on top of that their family has a high standing in society. It would make sense that Ed & Em would have similar superficial people around them as well.
The Owl House has done a great job introducing a bunch of minor characters (Boscha, Skara, and the detention track kids) as well as great supporting characters (Gus, Willow, Eda, and King) some of which could be a positive influence on the siblings if explored.
Amity
Amity’s future friendships are pretty self explanatory since the show is already foreshadowing them. Having her become friends (and maybe more) with Luz has opened a door for her to rekindle her friendship with Willow and gives her the opportunity to form one with Gus. These characters are similar to one another with being generally open and friendly which contrasts with Amity’s personality in a way that has already started to influence her positively.
Tumblr media
We’ve already started to see Amity let down her walls around Luz and become more authentic than how she is with the popular girls. Amity’s current character arc is heavily influenced her relationships, in a handful of interactions we’ve seen her go through some major character development. Most of which seems to have been started from her interactions with Luz. Being around Luz has made her a better person thus far, she’s been less hostile and more understanding/self-reflective. Them becoming a couple would also be monumental for Amity, showing her that someone does love her for her personality instead of her name. I also can see her making Luz a better person as well, less impulsive but still courageous (Lumity rights baby).
Tumblr media
Amity and Willow’s would also be incredibly positive for Amity. In Understanding Willow, we saw Amity apologize and admit that she wasn’t strong enough then to keep Willow’s friendship. In the subsequent years she had allowed Boscha to bully Willow and even joined in. In that episode Amity promised to put a stop to the bullying, and from what it looks like cutting ties with the popular kids entirely. That’s a huge step forward for Amity, not only is she standing up for her childhood friend but she’s also standing against her parents wishes for probably the first time. Willow has also demonstrated that she’s going to follow her dreams (switching from Abomination to the Plant track) and I could see them supporting each other while they made difficult decisions.
Tumblr media
As for Gus and Amity they haven’t had any super meaningful conversations in the show yet, but there are already obvious similarities. They’re both hardworking and extremely smart. Amity’s more reserved whereas Gus is more excitable. I could see them studying together and debating topics for the sake of having a conversation. Gus would totally ask an innocent question and Amity would just feel like she had to respond, maybe they would both start talking about what they think the human world is like (eventually they’d have to just ask Luz cause they really just want an answer). Amity would start to feel like she’s able to talk freely around her new friends without them judging her for anything.
Eventually it’s pretty obvious that she’s going to have to face her parents, but instead of doing it alone (though I have no doubt she’ll try, saying something like ‘this is my fight’ or something) she’ll have her real friends by her side. Amity will learn that she doesn’t have to be isolated and so uptight because she’s living under her parents scrutiny, maybe even having Eda step into the role of being her maternal figure.
