Hi! I just read your story Will of the Force! Some parts were not my cup of tea but what I liked the most was how gentle and sweet everyone was towards Anakin. I wish I could find more stories like that. Anyway I wanted to ask about some more scenes with the clones being protective over their general. Maybe also the clones meeting the babies for the first time? Please?
Oh hey!! Thank you so much for the ask!! I am answering this waaay late, but I am so glad you enjoyed Will of the Force! I so enjoyed writing it. I think having the clones meet the babies would be so cute! Or the clones being protective of Anakin on the field would be awesome too! Unfortunately, I don't have plans to add more to this fic. Your comment means so much to me though and I'm so glad you liked the fic. If you want to write something and credit the work, I'd be so down though!!

what with all this talk of fanfic and ai and feeding other people's work without permission into ai programmes to 'finish' a fanfic or whatever... it's just showing how people see fic as 'content'? a fanfic as something mass-produced and official, something to consume at a distance and then talk about in a vacuum? something to use for your own purposes and something over which you have a claim?
fanfic is written by fans like you. written out of love and passion and a lot of effort and hard work, so that the author can share their enthusiasm for the characters and stories with other fans. like you. they aren't these untouchable, faceless people above you – they're your peers. gifsets, fanart, fanfic – they're all made by your peers. mutuals. friends.
if you want to know more about the fic, talk to the author! so many fic writers leave their socials in the end notes of their fics – talk to them! they're not going to be affronted or judgemental. chances are, they're going to be over the moon that you like their work and want to engage and discuss the characters and the themes etc. they made you happy with their fic, and you would be making them so happy in return! (and what does a happy writer do? write more!)
as a fic writer, I made one of my closest tumblr friends because she read my fic and left a really nice comment, and then we got talking and brainstorming loads of headcanons and fic ideas together! fic writers want to talk! if you enjoy someone's presence and contributions in a fandom, let them know!
and for the love of all that is good, don't feed someone's hard work into an ai programme!!! whether you post it (which is just horrible tbh) is beside the point – you're facilitating the plagiarism of their fic!

Cody, drunk: You are so good looking.
Cody: [Throwing his arm around him]
Cody: I’m gonna make love to you right here right now.
Rex: [Sitting in a chair next to them]
Rex: Really wish you wouldn’t.

Things We Lost in the Fire
Chapter 6
Hey all! Guess who wrote chapter six and forgot to publish it? lmaoo, it me. Better late than never, I suppose. In my defense, I kinda hit a writing block and by the time I got back to this fic, I forgot what chapter I even left off on, so... oops. But I'm back on.
I hope y'all enjoy. As always, please let me know what you think, either here or on ao3.
Hugs, Britt

Hey can I get a 6 + 9 from the prompt list with obi-wan with some heavy angst. Thanks btw ! ❤️
Hello! Thank you for the prompt!!!
The prompts were: Hey, it’s me, you’re safe & You did everything you could.
***
The discomforting sensation of strangulation wakes Anakin from what was already a listless sleep. He sits up, his hands clawing at his throat before he realizes there is nothing there and no assailant in his room. Still, he summons his saber to his hands and jumps out of his bed, searching for a threat that is not there.
His quarters are dark, and with the wave of a hand, the lights flash on. He squints in the brightness, searching for someone in the shadows that remain, but his eyes do not land on anyone and his senses only detect two other people in the apartment. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan.
In the Force, he brushes over his bond with Ahsoka. As far as he can tell, she rests peacefully in the spare bedroom. He repeats the gesture with his bond with Obi-Wan and nearly doubles over. An untamed sense of fear slams against Obi-Wan’s shields, leeching out through the cracks in the mental barriers. Anakin’s fingers grasp for his throat once more, and he realizes it is not he who is experiencing this sensation — it’s Obi-Wan.
His heart pounding with adrenaline, Anakin scrambles out of his room and down the hall to Obi-Wan. He does not bother knocking and practically breaks down the door in his effort to pass through it.
“Master,” Anakin calls out. He flicks on the lights and finds Obi-Wan still lying in his bed, though sheets twist and tangle around his body.
Upon a first cursory glance, he seems unharmed, though when Anakin looks closer, a thin sheen of sweat clings to Obi-Wan’s forehead and dampens his hair. Beyond his physical appearance, terror still seeps out of his shields and Anakin draws to the conclusion that the only threat in the night is a fever dream.
Still, it’s not a threat Anakin intends to take lightly — not when it’s his friend who has to face it alone.
Anakin kneels beside the bed and grabs Obi-Wan’s shoulder. He shakes it gently and wills Obi-Wan to wake up.
“Come on, Master,” Anakin coaxes. “It’s just a dream.”
Obi-Wan’s eyes remain shuttered closed, but Anakin persists in his shaking.
Anakin is about to switch tactics when Obi-Wan startles awake, his eyes a fever-glazed blue. Upon waking, he scuttles back and away from Anakin like it is he who is the threat, and not the visions plaguing his restless sleep.
“Hey,” Anakin says in a tone he reserves for younglings they encounter on their missions. Certainly not a tone he uses with Obi-Wan, though he’s sensing now is a good time for it. “It’s me. It’s Anakin. You’re safe.”
Some of the fog clears from Obi-Wan’s eyes, and bare recognition takes over.
“Oh,” he murmurs. “That was— I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright,” Anakin says. “It was only a dream.”
“No, it wasn’t,” Obi-Wan rasps. His gaze turns crestfallen and defeated.
“Was it Kadavo again?”
The silence is answer enough.
Obi-Wan shrinks further into himself, crossing his arms and pulling up his legs to subconsciously protect his vital organs.
Anakin does not bother with platitudes and assurances of his freedom. He knows they make no difference. Instead, he worms himself onto the bed, forcing Obi-Wan to scoot over and make room for him.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Anakin offers instead.
Obi-Wan shakes his head. “There’s no point. It’s the same as always. I can’t save them. Not with that collar around my neck.”
“You did everything you could.”
“Not enough.”
“Maybe. But you shouldn’t torture yourself with it. That won’t do anything.”
Obi-Wan nods his head and winces at the movement. His whole body trembles and he clambers for the blanket's edge before pulling it up to his chin.
“I think you might be sick,” Anakin says plainly.
To Anakin’s surprise, Obi-Wan nods his head in agreement. “I think I might be.”
The events of Kadavo were not that long ago. Obi-Wan has mostly healed from his larger injuries, but the mental ones still linger and his body is weakened besides. It is hardly a surprise he fell victim to whatever illness seizes control of his body now that he’s planetside on Coruscant.
“I’ll get you some tea and some fever reducers. I’ll be right back.”
In spite of Anakin’s reassurances that he would in fact be returning, a flash of fear strikes through their bond before Obi-Wan can wrangle hold of it.
“Just a few minutes, Master. I’ll hurry.”
Anakin rushes through their quarters, and as quietly as possible, makes a pot of tea and locates fever reducers. He tiptoes back to Obi-Wan’s room, half expecting his Master to be asleep again, though his eyes remain open and watchful, if not somewhat far away.
“Here, take these,” Anakin says, handing the pills and cup of tea to Obi-Wan. “They’ll make you feel better.”
Obi-Wan eyes the pills warily before swallowing them back without complaint. Anakin watches him drink his tea, and takes the half-empty mug from him when he refuses more. He resumes his spot right next to Obi-Wan and leans his head back against the headboard. Obi-Wan does the same.
They remain in silence for a moment, only for Obi-Wan to break it with a defeated statement. “I’m so tired, Anakin.”
“Like, physically tired or…” Anakin gestures around. “Or just tired.”
“Tired. Both. I don’t know.” It’s never been Obi-Wan’s style to be so outwardly unsure of himself — at least not around Anakin.
Anakin looks at him in concern. “Are you okay, Master?”
“Yes. No. I don’t know. I will be, I suppose.”
Anakin’s concern does not waver, though the subtle edge of resolution in Obi-Wan’s voice is enough to keep it from spiking.
“You will be,” Anakin affirms. “We’ll all be alright.”
A half-hearted smile curls Obi-Wan’s lips but doesn’t light his eyes. His body trembles lightlty as a chill takes hold of him, even with the heat still radiating off his skin.
“Here,” Anakin says. He levitates a blanket to them from across the room and settles it over both of them.
“You don’t have to stay,” Obi-Wan says softly.
“No,” Anakin says. “But I want to. I’ll stay with you.”
