friend: are you ok?
me: i'm fine
me on the inside: i just don't get how some people aren't grasping that the major themes of elite season 3 are about how lamenting someone’s death becomes hypocrisy when you start doing outright abusive things for revenge. righteousness breeds toxicity and it spreads. ignoring the entirety of how life is too short to hold onto things that just make you bitter, and how awful it is that you can hate someone until you’re the one in their shoes. do you think marina would've wanted any of this to happen? she wasn't about that. polo may have deserved to be in jail, and it wasn’t like he didn’t know that? he was readily about to confess, but you can’t just go around saying things like he’s a sociopath who had it coming. sociopaths don’t experience panic, guilt, and self hatred about things they did. he regularly had anxiety attacks from age twelve. he didn't deserve to die, and it makes me absolutely sick that he thinks he did.
