Posting behind the scenes and spoilers for NBCBlacklist S10; Donald Ressler fan; Find me on FFN/AO3 @alyb123 and on Twitter, Reddit and Instagram @alyb1223
On this bonus day of 'Febressuary', I firstly wanted to thank you warmly for your patient and professional dedication to this tumblr and its numerous asks through the years!
I ran into a (probably dated) Blacklist playlist on Spotify, apparently curated by Bokenkamp and cast, and was wondering whether you knew if the actors curated their own character's playlist? As an example here is Ressler's playlist. Thank you!
I'm sorry I'm answering this so late - I literally just opened Tumblr tonight and saw this ask. Thank you for your kind words!
I was able to dig up Jon Bokenkamp's tweet confirming that the actors chose the songs for their characters:
Glad you're enjoying the playlist! I had forgotten about those!
Hi, Aly! I hope everything is fine with you and your family! I was wondering if you heard anything about new projects from Diego and/or Megan? I'd love to see them in new projects.
[i was expecting Megan to release something made by her company, but i doubt she still has the company since she never talked about it anymore :( ]
Thank you!!
Hi anon! All is well, thank you. I have not seen any news regarding new projects, unfortunately. Will definitely post if I do!
Megan still has her company, Weird Sister Productions, Inc. Still waiting to see what she does with it!
Hey, u get any news on where Diego Klattenhoff is? I mean, i was hoping you knew something about new projects or something like that. :)
Hi anon, no news that I am aware of but I am also not expecting anything significant regarding new projects until the SAG-AFTRA strike ends. Most projects are on hold. And Diego is really good at keeping his personal life private and off social media. Hopefully he’s enjoying some well-earned downtime.

Cooper: It's hard to believe this is how it ends. I mean, I always knew the Task Force would end one day, that my career would end one day...but all of this?
Dembe: After I was shot, lying there on the street...I thought I was dying. And in that moment, I was okay with that being the end. With all the things going through my mind...I also thought of Raymond. More than anyone I’ve ever known, he’s always been at peace with death. He says death is inevitable. It will come for us all. And that inevitability robs death entirely of its significance. What matters are the things that are not inevitable. The things we create. The things we find. The left we take when everything in our life is leading us right. How we live. I’ve always loved him for that. For his remarkable refusal to “go quietly into that good night."
Cooper: The poem...by Dylan Thomas. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Dembe: Yes. Imagine. Raymond, a man surrounded by death in so many ways, so passionately committed to embracing life. He could have surrendered a thousand times over and to some end. But instead, he chooses to rage. To rage against the dying of the light. To rage against the bad guys that would do us all harm. Rage to protect those people he loves. To find moments of peace and joy...and fun...even though he knows the light is still dying. To live a most passionate life, knowing it will still lead to the same inevitable end...is perhaps the most deeply moving choice one can make. It is the lesson at the very core of my time with him. You never imagined this is how it would end. But our time with him, our time together, was never about how it ended. It was about the adventure, about life, about Raymond constantly reminding us, showing us, imploring us...to rage. To rage.
“You have every right to feel dissatisfied that the show didn’t tie up all of its many loose ends, but it seems to me that by the 10th season, you were either enjoying the ride for the ride’s sake or you were a masochist for staying with it if those unanswered questions still bothered you.”
