“please tell me that after i won that crown i blacked out and the rest was just a dream.” she thought she’d be over it — no she wanted to be over it. as much as she hoped that her secret being revealed to the entire school was a fever dream brought on by spiked punch. she sat there and let out a sigh before looking up and meeting the eyes of the person standing in front of her. was everyone going to think differently of her now? the prom queen happened to be on of the biggest messes around campus — go figure, that’s how she felt anyway.

“I’m kind of hoping the same thing.” Aly sighed, sitting down beside the girl, their shoulders brushing together. “Maybe somebody put LSD in the punch.” She tried to joke, but tears were building in her eyes again. In her own sorrow, she had forgotten that Morgan had been crowned queen and had her dirty laundry displayed across the grand hall in the same night. “Should I even ask how you’re doing?”

Nolan got up and put his arms around her. If she was really ending then, he at least needed one last hug “ aly please dont do this, i´m sorry, i promise if you just give me a second chance i will prove to you that its worth it, i promise. Please can we just work through this, i need you” he said calmly 

Aly wrapped her arms around him in a hug, holding him tightly for a minute. “Violence doesn’t get a second chance.” She told him, pulling away. “You’ll be fine, Nolan.”

tears were starting to form in the boys eyes as he looked away to hide it, his voice was however shakey “ i was mad as hell when you told me you cheated…. i didnt hurt you, i could never hurt you” he said honestly and looked up when she stood up, he blinked and a tear fell. ‘ why can i never do anything wright, why do i destroy everything positive in my life, why cant i let myself be happy?’ the boy thought to him self “ please dont go Aly” he begged 

Aly didn’t turn back to look at Nolan. It would have been too hard to. She would have caved and forgiven him, despite her fears. And if she lost her scholarship, it would make leaving Luxor even worse. “Go cry to someone else.” She manged to choke out through her teeth.

Dom looked across the table and shrugged. “It’s fine, I’ve had worse done to me.” HE pointed out, she knew what he was talking about. “Nothing a year of therapy can’t fix anyway.”

“That doesn’t mean it should have happened.” Aly sighed, taking a drink of her coffee. “Did you want help studying or did you come to see me cry?”

Nolan looked Aly in the eyes. i know what i did last night was wrong, i really do. I know there is nothing i can do to fix it. But im not a violent person, that was a one time thing. And there is no way in hell i would ever lay a hand on you no matter how mad i would get. I love you more than anything and if anything would Aly i really do.” he told her from the bottom of his heart, confessing like this was hard to him, it was so far from natural to him but at this point Nolan would do anything to keep Aly, he would do anything for her. He didint matter if it was cheese or corny and the whole world would know, he would do anything, he needed that girl in his life. 

Aly shook her head, sliding her books into her bag. “No...Nolan. I’m not going to do this dance with you. I know you love me....I love you too. But I’m not risking my safety for some guy again. I believe what you say and then I get hit the next time you get mad. I’ve been through this shit before.” She shouldered her bag and grabbed her coffee before rising from the table. “I’m not doing it again.” She turned her back just as tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Nolan was so nervous standing there. He couldnt loose Aly, tho he already had. Nolan really regretted his actions and was heart broken. He could see how uncomfortable Aly ws and it broke him even more. He sat down opposide her. “ Yesterday. Aly i´m really sorry, i never wanted anything to happen, i never wanted to hurt anyone, especially you. Your all i care about, i love you ay and i cant lose you, i really cant, i need you and i care about you and yeah you cheated but that dosnt give me te right to do what i did and i´m really sorry” he told her speaking wiht fear of what she would reply 

Aly could hear the desperation in Nolan’s voice, see the regret on his face, could almost feel how much he was hurting. But that didn’t change the nervous flutter in her chest. The words he was saying were eerily similar to those of a ex she wanted to forget. “You can say that all you want, but I’ll never be with another violent man again. You proved that you’ve got a temper that rivals your brothers. What happens if I piss you off? Do I get that rage? Or are you just going to punch a hole in the wall next to my head instead? That’s not a chance I want to take.” She kept her voice surprisingly level, but inside she was breaking. Until that night, Nolan was the nicest boy she had ever been with.

Leo thought that he’d feel at least somewhat more at ease after seeing Minnie okay– or at least as okay as she could be… but it didn’t help at all. After a while of just sitting in silence with her, he wandered off to his dorm and just laid awake for the remainder of the night, thinking. The next morning, he didn’t want to get up… he didn’t want to see or feel the aftermath of what the circle had caused. However as he was struggling to keep his eyes open, and too scared of what his mind would conjure up if he allowed himself to sleep, he got a large cup of iced coffee and tried to pick a somewhat quiet area in the library. It was just his luck that he stumbled up to one of the ten unlucky students, though. Hearing her question, he just shook his head lightly and sat in the seat across from her. “I wasn’t gonna say anything,” He mumbled out the words, lazily stringing them together, before taking another sip of his coffee. 

Aly had mixed feelings about seeing Leo. At one point in time they had been friends but his attitude was unpredictable. “Then why are you here?” She snapped, looking back down at her books. “And why do you sound like you’re high?”

Nolan hadnt slept a wink all night. He had been sitting in the dark staring at the big amount of coke he had gotten from Maddie, he had been tempted to do it all, knowing it was way to much for anyone to handle. Nolan hated himself, he hated what he did and being left alone on the floor the previous night after the fight,had confirmed it all, no body cared about him really. For a second he had thought Kai did, when he went all up in doms grill, but then he just left because of another boy who apparetnly meant more to Kai then Nolan or so it felt like. then there was Aly, Nolan had messed everything up with her. Maybe nolan was meant to be forever alone. That way he couldnt hurt anyone . The thought of loosing Aly was killing him inside. Nolan knew he had messed up. He knew getting violent didint solve anything, he knew it was wrong and it wasnt something he did regularly. But something inside him had snapped the previous night. Everything that had been building up had exploded and the 15 year old had lost all control. Control was something he had been practicing so hard the last couple of years, he had worked so hard on it and he thought he was mastering it but apparently not. Now he had gone from being the one wanting a break to saying he wanted her back and now being dumped by her and Nolan was really heartbroken. 

Nolan was a hot mess as he walked in the library in hopes of finding Aly there. His shirt was all wrinkled up and half unbuttoned, his tie was undone around his neck, his face and shirt had dried blood on it, his hair was messy and his eyes were red from tears. “ i´m really sorry….can we talk?” Nolan asked barely audible. He was ashamed to the max. And just walking out of his bedroom to go look for aly had been Nolans hardest task in weeks. 

Aly wasn’t expecting Nolan to be the one casting the shadows across her books. And she really wasn’t expecting him to still be in what he had worn at the dance the previous night. As her eyes drifted over the dried blood on his shirt and bruised knuckles, she couldn’t help but shrink back in her chair. The new fear of the boy in front of her all too real. “Talk about what?” She asked, trying to seem casual as she gathered up her personal belongings in case she wanted to leave at a moments notice.

Aly wasn’t expecting anything except a hard time from the other students. An honor student being a fraud was good for the rumor mill and bully mill. She wasn’t expecting her roommate to knock on her door. Sliding out of the open window while she had been sitting, she crossed the room and opened the door. “What is it?” She asked, eyeing the bag in Balo’s hands as if it contained a bomb.

Balo wasn’t sure if she was actually allowed to approach Aly during the time, but, she figured that if her roommate was too mad at her for being worried about her, she could just ask Caitriona and Maia to borrow their couch for a few days until things blew over. So, the girl just double checks the bag of ice cream, junk food and movies one last time before she knocks on Aly’s bedroom door. “Aly? It’s Balo. I get it if you want to be left alone right now but I got you something. I could leave it outside your door if you want?” She wasn’t sure if the care package would actually help any, but it seemed to help at least as a distraction in the movies, and since the roommates really weren’t that close, it seemed like the safest bet to her at the moment. She doesn’t bring up what happened, with Nolan or with her secret, figuring that at the moment, it was better not to push too much.

Dom shrugged, “well that’s a good thing.” He said expressionless, today he left his feelings at home, “because he kicked the crap out of me. And his brother almost killed me.” He added on. “You can do so much better honestly.” He said shaking his head and dom didn’t even mean him he was talking in general.

Aly covered her mouth, trying to keep her tears and sobs from escaping. Nolan had never acted like that before. Kai had but she wasn’t with him. “I’m so sorry, Dominic...I didn’t...I’m sorry.” She wanted to say so much more, but couldn’t get her words out.

“I thought you might,” Sky frowned, reaching out and taking her hands when she looked down at them. “You’re gonna be okay,” he whispered, looking around the library before he said anything. “For the….. printer shit,” he decided to call it, not wanting to say anything incriminating, “they have no proof, right? Plus you’ve proved yourself since coming here. They’re not gonna ditch their smartest student,” he insisted. “Don’t ask me about the boy stuff though, please. I can’t even handle my own nonexistent sex life.” 

Aly turned her hand and laced their fingers together, holding tightly to him. “They’re gonna look into it...it’s not like I copied some famous essay or anything on the internet.” Her hand went to her mouth to cover her sobs. “It was a creative essay and I sucked at creative writing...But I needed to get out of that house.” She tried to calm herself again, but not very successfully. “What boy stuff?” She felt horrible asking and not knowing already about what was going on in her best friends life.

“It’s too late now.” Aly said again, reaching out for her coffee with shaky hands. She took a drink, trying to calm herself before she started crying. She hadn’t yet and she didn’t plan on it. “I broke up with him because of what he did to you. I can’t be with a violent man again.”

Aly shook her head. “Ex-boyfriend.” Her voice cracked, the words hurting her to say. She bit her lip, biting back the tears. “I didn’t have to fuck you either. But whatever. It’s the past.” She swallowed hard and wiped at her eyes “Do you want to sit?”

“I brought you coffee, but you already have one….” Sky shrugged, setting the cup down beside her anyway, just in case she decided she wanted it, as he sat down opposite Aly. “Just to talk,” he murmured, when she asked what he wanted. “If you want to. If you don’t wanna talk about any of it, we can pretend it never happened, okay? I promise,” Sky told her, pushing his hair behind his ear as he looked at Aly.

Aly smiled, tearing building in her eyes at the gesture. Her cup was almost empty and she was grateful for the new one as well as the company. “Thanks. I didn’t sleep last night. I need the caffeine.” She sighed, moving her straw from one cup to the other. “I wish I could pretend that yesterday didn’t happen, but it did.” She looked down at her hands, Dominic’s blood was still stuck under her nails. And the news of her plagiarized essay was still out in the world. It was only a matter of time before one of the members of the faculty found out. “I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

Dom had been through a rough night as well, between Lennon running out on him and he getting his ass kicked by the harrington brothers, he was feeling defeated, but he decided to do something for himself today, people would be starring at the bruises around his neck why not let the see the scars on his arms. Dom was walking around in a short sleeve teeshirt preparing to do some studying when he saw Aly. HE walked over, “To say sorry.”

Aly leaned back in her chair, feeling a little bit of happiness for the step that he was taking wearing a shirt that showed off his scars. “Shouldn’t you be demanding an apology instead of giving on?” She sighed, looking back down at her notes. “You look like shit and it’s my fault.” Her voice broke as she spoke.
