Just some musings people can ignore, but it's something I've noticed when I mention Asra is non binary.

Asra isn't very androgynous, uses he/him pronouns most of the time, and it isn't said word-for-word in the story, so I completely understand why people would think he's a man. I don't blame people at all for thinking that, especially when it's not something people pick up on unless they're looking for it.

But I find it weird how many people when they hear it, flat out reject it, mostly because he isn't androgynous. I get people who criticise the story for not explicitly saying he's non binary, but saying he can't be non binary because he doesn't fit an aesthetic or use the "non binary pronouns" feels a bit strange to insist

I need fullbodies for each of those outfits on the double soldier

Uh, because it’s 3am as I sketched these, it’s not 100% what I drew but these are the outfits. Also, Julian’s fringe is shorter because I really like @lazyvoyager‘s idea that he grew it out after getting his eyepatch.

But yeah, I’m glad people liked these outfits! I’m actually happy with them.

Also I included my references below because they really helped improve these designs

Going through the dev’s tumblr, they mentioned a lot of their inspirations for the original designs, so I went along similar lines. Nadia has a lot of grecco-roman/modern runway styles, Asra has renaissance/fantasy style with Yoshitaka Amano patterns, and Julian had a lot of influence from Ann Demeulemeester and pirates

Some happy holidays chibi designs for the Arcana characters :D

I find it cute how aside from Julian and Portia, they’d all likely celebrate different things. It’s a great opportunity to draw for the different late year holidays.

The headcanons I based these off are that in a modern AU, Portia and Julian are Jewish, Asra is Muslim, Muriel is athiest, Nadia is Hindu, and Lucio is Christian (at least to celebrate Christmas)

Can't believe I forgot to post this here! @jupitisms is running a dtiys over on Instagram, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to draw Maggie and Marius (and also go crazy with new brushes and rim lighting).

The premise is that Maggie found one of her mom's old dresses while moving her stuff out of the shop and decided to get it restored. Also this is kind of a cheeky redesign of her masquerade dress heehoo

its late, I pulled all my webkinz off my shelf, and collected them all into one massive mound…which is about 170 not including the doubles

and this is really dumb and really silly but I matched up the LI’s to what webkinz I think that’d be, and I’m also opening up the floor for folks who want to match a webkinz to their apprentice!!

Asra: Whimsy Dragon

Soft pastel vibes. It was a close tie between this one and the rainbow googles, but the dragon has greater Asra vibes

Nadia: Cherry Soda Pup

This one just screams Nadia. The color?? The eyelashes?? Hell yeah!!

Muriel: Clydesdale Horse

Muriel’s was a bit tough but I kept coming back to the clydesdale every time I dug through my pile. Something about it just reminds me of him

Julian: Irish Settler

I’ll be honest here, it was those darn curls. I took one look at it and thought “yeah that’s Julian.”

Portia: Love Frog

Absolutely love it. 10/10 wholesome vibes right there. I think any of the “love” webkinz would fit with Portia but with her cottage aesthetic the love frog gets the top spot tbh and lastly…

Lucio: Rockerz Leopard

I think this one is the same reason as Julian: it just fits. Even if the aesthetics don’t match the webkinz just radiates Lucio vibes
