It's been a while buuuut here's my iterator oc again! Stones and Blades in Orbit. Here's what I have on them so far:

They were built too far from other iterators to have a local group. Communication between others was more tedious and they struggled to make friends as a result.

The solitude made them a bit of a people pleaser. They have a generally friendly demeanor, but quickly grow frustrated if things aren't going their way.

They believe the solution to the great problem is somewhere out there in the galaxy.

They created purposed slugcats based off of the blueprints of artificers subspecies to assist them. (I'll talk more about them later lol.)

Currently they are constructing a massive spaceship that will serve as a new can. Progress is relatively slow due to the taboo on self modification.

A 'small' side project of theirs is creating a satellite to help reestablish long distance communication for as many iterators as possible.

Okay, I can finally say that this general design is what I'm happy with! The Larama I used to draw were stiff and large, and I really liked their design but they simply weren't fun to draw.

The new Larama are somewhat like some kind of leech/cephalopod hybrid. They can bend at ridiculous angles and squeeze through holes as large as their beaks! Their main form of communication is through colors and shapes, which they can 'speak' by changing the colors of their crest! They can actually control the color of all of their skin, but it requires much more effort than just the crest.

And though they prefer to live in the seas, they are semiaquatic! They breathe through their skin so they need to stay decently moist on land. Cohab ships even have designated pools for Larama to swim in!

Trying to make a funky dinaurian oc. She's a utahraptor that's basically meteor/fire inspired. I imagine she'd be a bit annoying and stuck up but ultimately harmless outside of battle. No idea what to name her 🤷
