Call her a pessimist, but she does not find his assurances all that reassuring! Still, she keeps any and all comments regarding his hunting prowess to herself—he will surely provide her with ample material for future quips and witticisms once she's seen a demonstration of his skills. Who knows, she may find herself pleasantly surprised for once. Wouldn't that be nice.
She lingers but for a moment, observing the remaining two men as they set about their task. Eyes on the dark-haired mage, she exhales through her teeth, a soft, surreptitious psst to catch his attention, then cants her head ever so slightly towards the blond. "Watch each other's backs, yes? Please?"
With that, and with a dreary sigh, she turns and dutifully follows after her Arisen, trailing behind him like a second shadow in the waning light.
It's been quite a while since Cillian was briefed on how to hunt and track animals ever since his departure from his village.
"I'm fairly certain we will manage...we've made it this far, after all. And there is a river I hear nearby, so we should find some fish at the very least."
He signals the others to stay put and set up camp for them, both Pawns obeying in earnest. The Arisen turns his head towards her. Though he is rather curious about what the lady carries in her own oddly-shaped bag, he figures that if she were carrying provisions, she would have not asked in the first place.
"We should hurry. 'tis getting dark." He starts walking off in the other direction towards the sound of running water and motions for her to follow.

Sheila holds his gaze for several seconds, then sighs, raising her hands in surrender. "Fine, no fornicating in church unless there's knifeplay involved."
That was definitely how he wanted her to interpret that passage, right?
The thinly veiled threat does not go uncontested, however. "But I do question your authority." She lowers her hands, but her guard remains ever high. "This place was abandoned by its previous steward."
Nice man, Father... whatever his name was. Wonder whatever happened to him, why he vanished so abruptly after begging her to accept his generosity and rest here. In his absence, she's had the run of the place with nobody except the critters in the rafters for company.
Four pews from the front, right side—a guttural sound from the deepest bowels of hell rises in volume and pitch, though the beast responsible remains unseen.
Oh, and that. Sheila casts a quick glance towards the noise. "I find it hard to believe the church is suddenly interested in reclaiming it after three years."
The man pulls out his bible, opening it and flipping to a bookmark. A bit convenient for the scenario, but it's also one of the few verses he's actually committed to memory.
"Hebrews 9:22 - Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. So, I do not think questioning my authority is a good idea." He locks eyes back with the same pointed stare.

In turn, she is hesitant to answer, but—"They said no." But. "Neither of them said where in their scriptures this is expressly forbidden, though."
She gives him a pointed look.
But wait, there's more. "And one of them made threats on my life, which I do not think priests are allowed to do. So, naturally, I consider the second opinion a bit suspect."
"And what did the others say?"
He's afraid to ask, but a part of him also really wants to know if there's someone else out there who thinks otherwise.

Inquiring minds want to know! Is that not reason enough?
Still keeping her distance as if expecting some sort of violent retaliation, given what happened last time. "I needed a third opinion."
the first two were not enough.

sheila and dogs don't get along because dogs can sense the foreboding voidspace looming behind her head and are rightfully wary of her
cats, on the other hand, sense the foreboding looming voidspace and don't care
