In an episode PACKED with heartbreaking, horrible sights and scenes, the winner for Most Devastating Thing I Had to See is the hand of an off-screen stranger comforting Kim Wexler mid-breakdown on an airport shuttle. The empathy! The humanity! The non-judgemental, tiny offering of grace and kindness when Kim has none for herself! Fuuuuck!

‎41 martyrs, including 15 children and 4 women, and 311 injuries, as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. X
CW
Last few hits were horrifying. They bombed a cemetery. There were several kids there. They were all martyred. Don’t tell me it’s not intentional.
Martyrs of the Falluja cemetery in the northern Gaza Strip who were targeted by the occupation planes:
Jamil Ehab Jamil Najm 13 years old
Jamil Najmuddin Jamil Najm 4 years old
Hamed Haider Hamed Najm, 16 years old
Nazmi Fayez Abdel Hadi Abu Karsh, 14 years old
Mohamed Salah Negm 17 years old
Children, oh God, all of them X

This video is about a year old, but I'm sharing it because the content is once again, unfortunately, relevant. (Israel has begun an unprovoked bombing in Gaza. Indiscriminate bombing of civilians.)
Rashida Tlaib sums it up pretty well: "Help me understand the math. How many Palestinians have to die for their lives to matter? Life under apartheid strips Palestinians of their human dignity.... meanwhile Palestinians' right to non-violent resistance has been curtailed or even criminalized."
(To that last point, just existing as a Palestinian is more or less criminalized- a friend of my husband was recently released from an Israeli prison after being held for 7 years under "administrative detention" which means no real charges... and minors are imprisoned as well.)
Anyway. Like I said, certain points in the speech are specific to last year, but she captures the emotions surrounding it all very well. Please watch if you have a few minutes.
