help a hungry transmed out?
it is I, your local transmed pug back from a long ass fuckin hiatus.
and I’m homeless, unemployed, sharing a hotel room with a binge eater in the middle of a food shortage, and can’t afford my damn meds.
I need like sixty bucks to keep myself fed for the next two weeks and I’m not even worried about the meds rn, I just need to be able to eat.
if anyone can help me out, my paypal is https://www.paypal.me/miaowo and my venmo is @AAAAAAAAAAAHHH  (Ax11+Hx3).
am hungry.

dysphoria is a noun.
I can't believe a transmed would say 'cis ppl can have GD' and spread that myth of 'most children with GD grow out of it' when that "study" counted being GNC as having GD. And wasn't that one done by some dumbass anti-trans group anyway? The label "transmed" truly has lost it's meaning.
I don’t even know, man. It’s just so fucking stupid dafj;al;fl;sdl;. Fuck tucutes, fuck transmeds - let’s just support science without needing a label or a community for it ‘cause clearly that’s just asking for dumbasses to ruin it.
(Not that tucutes were ever good of course. But fuck ‘em anyway)

literally anyone: yeah call yourself whatever you want, that's perfectly okay! just please don't call me queer. it makes me uncomfortable.
tungle dot com users: um? actually? sweaty?? you just hate being called slurs because they're more inclusive and you don't like people who aren't exactly like you. :))) admit that you hate enbies and asexuals and you want them to kill themselves. not wanting to be called a queer is terf rhetoric just so you know. anyway i'm here and i'm kweer and you can't tell me what to do. queer :)))))))

> Otherwise, by OPs logic, LGBT+ people in america don’t face oppression anymore because conversion therapy is illegal, it’s legal for them to marry, and now all they have to deal with is people being assholes.
hi! did you know that transgender people are barred from joining the US military? what’s your take on the trump administration’s current attack on the rights of transgender patients?
but if trans people aren’t lgbt enough for you, then i’ve got some good news for you, because the supreme court still can’t decide if anti discrimination laws apply to gay Americans. and only twenty three of fifty states + DC prohibit discrimination against lgbt people. beyond I do’s faq is a pretty good resource for understanding the ways that yeah, lgbt people are still oppressed in America.
aces are not.
when I was in 4th grade, I got my first pair of glasses. I’d needed them for years. given that I was ten years old and little kids are notorious for being assholes, I got picked on. kids laughed at me. I got called ugly. “four eyes” was a dead insult by then but I still heard it once or twice. it was miserable, I hated every second of it, and I thought it was the end of the world. I felt like shit about myself and wished I didn’t need glasses.
but was I oppressed for wearing glasses? fuck no.
this is the concept that I don’t think asexual inclusionists seem to grasp. people are inherently shitty; they’re going to call you rude names, they’re going to harass you, they’re going to invalidate you, and they’re going to make your life a living hell. they’re going to do this regardless of who you are or what you do. that is not oppression. it does not make you a minority group. being likened to a plant or having the validity of your relationship questioned or being told that the way you feel (or don’t feel) is shitty and uncalled for, but it’s not oppression.
ten year old glasses-wearing me also didn’t fit in with my “sighted” classmates, but I wasn’t blind. it would have been incredibly inappropriate for me to actively seek out spaces meant for blind students, demand access into those spaces despite not being blind, and then vilify the people who those spaces were originally meant for because they had the audacity to “exclude” me. a nearsighted person is objectively different from someone with 20/20 vision. a cisgender aro/ace is objectively different from someone who’s cisgender and straight. but a nearsighted person isn’t blind, and a cis aro/ace isn’t lgbt. I’ll never know what it’s like being able to see perfectly for free, and I’ll always have to worry about how I’ll afford eye exams and whether or not I’ll be able to see if my glasses break or my eyesight gets worse. I have to deal with certain pitfalls that people who don’t wear glasses will never have to think about. but I also have no idea what it’s like navigating the world as a blind person, and while I can relate to some of the struggles a blind person might have, I am in no way one. I hold privilege over blind people even though I don’t hold all of the privileges of having normal, healthy eyesight. my life would be easier if I had perfect vision. it’s possible that people might treat me differently if I had perfect vision. but that still doesn’t make me part of an oppressed minority.
tl;dr: people being assholes to you is not the same thing as being oppressed. also, not everything is black and white “either you’re an oppressed minority or you’re a privileged oppressor.” cis aro/aces will never know what it’s like to be the cishet default, but they’ll also never know what it’s like to face systematic oppression based on their sexuality/gender. straight aces and aro aces aren’t lgb and unless they’re t, they’re not lgbt.

honestly the “truscum don’t interact” banners on stim blogs have always baffled me, like…you don’t own that content? that isn’t your slime. those aren’t your hands. you didn’t record that. that’s someone else’s video that you made a two second gif of. it’s not your right or your place to decide who is and isn’t allowed to consume someone else’s content that you just reposted. if you want to gatekeep people from content just for disagreeing with you, then maybe make your own content?

thanks to the informed consent model, i start T on Friday 😌 transmeds stay bitter while you’re on your waitlists and continue to enable the system that makes it as difficult as possible to access trans resources and medical care

it’s so funny to me when nondysphorics insist that cis people aren’t allowed to have an opinion on trans discourse.
like...buddy...youre cis. that’s you. whatchu doin with that opinion?

Hey I’m fucking livid
In a year, their fucking waiting lists for the NHS Gender Identity Clinic have gone from 12 months to 24 months, due to “An increase of illegitimate cases”, referrals for people that are made to the Gender Identity Clinic, which go through the entire system, get an appointment and aren’t even actually trans. The clinic has to see these people anyway, at least once, which takes up valuable appointments for real trans people in desperate need.
This is the sort of shit I mean when I say that transtrenders are stealing resources. I don’t mean “oh boo hoo they’re taking our binders”, I mean you’re taking up our appointment spaces for no reason, denying people the healthcare they need all because you want to be a real trans boy uwu
Fuck you

I’m fucking tired of hearing aceys act as if sexual pressure is personal oppression or whatever. You realise EVERYONE deals with media and society putting pressure on them to date and have sex right? That’s not an acey issue - that’s an everyone issue.

am i the only one who thinks that the concept of “internalized bigotry” the way some of y’all throw it around is just...fancy gaslighting? like regardless of what the term originally meant (and i realize that it’s being misused), telling a trans person that they have “internalized transphobia” just because they’re transmed or telling a woman that she has “internalized misogyny” just because she doesn’t consider herself to be a feminist is...really fucked up.
like shockingly enough, minorities are not a hive mind. we don’t agree with each other on everything. someone holding a different opinion than you is not the same as racism, sexism, homophobia etc and to act like minorities are incapable of forming different opinions on their own without the influence of their oppressors is so fucking condescending.

things that are simultaneously true
1.) the sexualization of teenagers is bad.
2.) the de-sexualization of teenagers is...also bad.
don’t get me wrong, an adult absolutely should not be looking at a 15 year old and thinking ‘god i wanna fuck that.’ that’s creepy as fuck. grown adults should not be regarding minors in a sexual light, full stop. see point number 1: the sexualization of teenagers by adults is bad.
but at the same time, we really need to stop this trend of infantilizing teenagers and stripping them of their sexuality. we need to stop shoving abstinence down their throats. we need to stop telling them that they’re ‘too young’ to know their sexual orientation or to read about sex and sexual relationships until they reach an arbitrary age. we need to stop taking the locks off their doors and installing spyware on their computers in hopes of catching them jacking off or looking at porn so we can punish them accordingly. we need to stop censoring any and all mentions of sex and sexuality from the books teenagers read or the shows they watch. we need to stop equating two teenagers having consensual sex with rape or equating a 16 year old with a 6 year old.
like what the fuck do you think your teenager is going to do when they actually are being raped, groomed, or abused? when they get pregnant? when they’re worried they might have an std? they’re sure as fuck not going to tell you about it just so you can ground them, berate them, laugh them off, kick them to the curb, or take their partner to court in a fit of stubborn puritan rage.
teenagers deserve the chance to safely explore their sexualities without fear of punishment, ridicule, or adult involvement. they’re also going to be sexual whether you approve of it or not and if you’d rather dedicate your life to obsessing over and controlling teens’ sexualities than keeping them safe, you guys are just assholes and creeps.

anyway the arya stark discourse has nothing to do with ‘sexualizing children,’ y’all are just mad that an unmarried couple had sex.
nobody had a problem with a 16 year old dany being married off to a grown adult war lord against her will and then raped by her new husband on screen.
nobody had a problem with that old creep north of the wall who marries and fucks all his (eerily young looking) daughters.
nobody had a problem with ramsay bolton raping sansa the night of their wedding while theon was forced to stand in the corner and watch.
like don’t pull the ‘but think of the children!’ card now. don’t pretend your issue is with the sexualization of children. it’s not. you’re all perfectly fine with on screen depictions of children being raped as long as they’re married to the guy who’s doing it. you’re just mad that fictional high fantasy characters don’t share your creepy twisted views about marriage, abstinence, gender roles, and consent.
and by the way, arya’s canonically 18 this season. she’s not even a child. like you’re literally more offended by an adult woman instigating consensual sex because it’s ~sinful~ than you are by the concept of child marriage and rape. i don’t know how to explain to you that that’s fucked up beyond belief.
