I've seen the spoilers! I told myself I could hold off, but alas, I am weak. I won't be sharing details here, but there is a link in the replies. I just want to give some general thoughts. Everything is of course subject to change after I've actually seen the episode.
I really like a lot of the choices they've made. Most things I thought would happen did, but there are some big swings that I wasn't totally expecting, at least not in the first episode. For someone whose been quite worried about how they would handle certain aspects of the show, I'm acually excited to see where it goes from here. There also seems to be an attempt at trying book motivations with show motivations in a way that I think is really clever. I will probably talk about that more once the episodes are out.
I do wonder if there are a couple of things that should have been established at the end of last season though, but it's not a dealbreaker by any means. The only real criticism thus far is that the timeline is so unbelievably nonsensical at this point. I know we already knew this, but it's really gotten out of hand. I think the show probably should have done- at the very least- a two year time jump.

I think it's more likely to be an almost kiss than an actual one imo. But tbh even that would be a huge step for them
Referring to this post: X
That's a definite possibility, but I would prefer it to be their first kiss. We had several almost kisses last season and they worked really well for Kate and Anthony because of the forbidden romance element. Those moments are impactful because the stakes for them were really high. We wanted them to kiss but we didn't want Edwina to get hurt.
But I feel like for Penelope and Colin, there's not much standing in their way outside of the usual fear of being compromised that we already saw explored with Simon and Daphne. The two of them kissing before Debling starts courting Pen adds a much more interesting layer to their narrative than it would if they were to get interrupted or back out.

I just love the idea of Polin having their first kiss in episode two because it creates an opportunity for a slower build-up in intimacy than we've seen in past seasons. Simon and Daphne's first kiss is in episode 4 and their first time is in episode 5. Kate and Anthony have a longer slow burn and build-up in tension, but when they have their first kiss in episode 6, it escalates quickly to their first time in episode 7. Even Charlotte and George kiss in episode 1 and have sex at the end of episode 2.
Having Pen and Colin kiss in episode two gives the show a bit of breathing room and could freshen up the structure of the show. They have their first kiss in episode two, which leads to sexual tension in episode 3 that then gets released in a more passionate make-out session (episode 4, carriage scene), which shifts their relationship dynamic and then builds to their first time in episode 6 or 7 when they confess their love to each other (mirror scene). And this kind of structure where the moments are more spread out adds to the themes of growing individually and with your partner.

This promo is giving major Wicked vibes.
Cressida: Ellie, now that we're friends, I've decided to make you my new project!
Eloise: You really don't have to do that.
Cressida: I know, that's what makes me so nice!

Update:
Not long after I posted this someone with screeners made a clarification about the embargo. It seems the spoiler is either not true or is- as I originally predicted- exaggerated and taken out of context.
I'm keeping this post up though, because it was more of a criticism of the reaction to the spoiler than anything else and my opinion on that still stands.
This is also a good time to remind myself and everyone that any spoiler we hear from this point on, whether it's from reliable sources or not can easily be taken out of context intentionally or unintentionally.
Since it's looking more and more like those spoilers might be true, here are my thoughts:
Of all of the changes they have made to Colin's character in the last three seasons, it's wild to hear people say that Colin potentially having a threesome is a step too far.
Once again, it demonstrates how a significant part of this fanbase will always put Penelope's feelings and autonomy before Colin's. Colin is not in a relationship with Penelope, and the only thing he owes her is a sincere apology for what he said about her. It's also perfectly normal for a 22-year-old to explore their sexuality.
I can understand concerns about how the scene might be framed. This is a show that is meant to prioritize the female gaze and putting in a scene where a man watches two women have sex doesn't really reflect that. That being said we don't have the context, and given how they handled Simon and Anthony in their seasons, it's unlikely that the scene will be super explicit.
Framing aside though, Colin being more adventurous in bed makes a lot of sense to me, especially given that he's been traveling and actively seeking new experiences.
It's not the choice I would have made for the character personally, as I would have liked him to contrast more with our previous male leads. But compared to some of the other choices the show has made with Colin, I feel pretty neutral about it. That might change when we have more context, but there are just so many other things I'm concerned about.
I'll leave you with this excerpt from Romancing Mister Bridgerton:

Saw the potential spoiler and while I'm relatively certain it's either not true or an over exaggeration, I'd say it's at the very bottom of the list of things I'm concerened about.
We've honestly heard a lot the last few days that have given me some hope (at least for the first half of the season), and this isn't something that ruins that for me, (even if it's not the direction I would have gone in).
