As if "swallowed by the earth" is a way to describe someone who's gone missing without a trace, particularly in the woods, but in Ditovo it may be more than just a saying. At least if you believe the many legends and folktales about giant plumsaina, or as they're more commonly known "earth belly". The plant does exist but usually it is only big enough to catch small vertebrates, which it does when prey step onto its camouflaged trap door and fall into the pit of the plant filled with digestive liquid and downward pointing spikes preventing escape. The roots of the plant are for storing nutrients and other substances, as well as firmly anchoring the plant in the ground when prey is thrashing about inside it. In order to reproduce the earth belly sprouts a red flower above the surface, a red flag that may perhaps save the life of one who recognizes it.
They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.
Ofcourse, I'm not saying this is an improvement over the official character, nor is that the goal. I did this out of love for the original design. Just wanted to draw my own version of it.
Design explorations for both Lamb and Wolf:
Final design:
The background I've used for the "in game" drawings is not mine. It's from the official Riot Games concept art for the summoner's rift rework (I'd like to mention tha specific artist but I wasn't able to find it):
As you might have noticed, Wolf is a separate unit in this version of Kindred. That's because this takes place in a parallel universe where you can control more than one unit in LoL without wanting to throw your monitor out the window.
I also changed most the abilities, why not (I know nothing about game design and this moveset might be boring or broken. I just did it for fun):
-Q is the same.
-W is just her current E, without the damage part. So just a slow.
-E is called "Kindred", it summons Wolf. Long cd. Wolf doesn't expire and there's no limito to how far he can stray from Lamb. E also grants her passive bonuses that I'll explain later on.
-R is the same. But she can cast it either on herself or Wolf.
Wolf has three abilities that scale with Lambs' E skill points:
-Q is a passive that grants him invis and slow hp regen when standing still. Starts after 4 seconds.
-W is another passive that gives him extra auto attack damage on enemies affected by any negative debuff/effect (silence, ignite, stun, slow...).
-E is called "Kindred" just like Lamb's E. Wolf marks an enemy champion after auto attacking them 4 times. While marked, enemies have an invisible area arround them that grants both Lamb and Wolf some bonuses. While inside this area:
-Wolf may activate his W ability, instantly teleporting Lamb to him.
-The mark counts for Wolf's W attack bonus.
-Lamb gets reduced cd on her Q.
-Lamb gets a small amount of permanent attack range and damage for each marked champion she kills.
Here’s the demo for a very simple virtual pet phone game I’ve been working on as a side project: Bichomon.
In the game you open an egg and you get a random pet. Then you have to keep it alive by pressing the feed button every 11 hours. After a set amount of days it evolves and you unlock it in the menu so you can revive it whenever you want. If your pet dies it drops an egg. Depending on how long your last pet lived you get a different egg with a different set of pets.
(If you have seen other posts I’ve made about this game keep in mind I’ve scrapped or changed most of the creatures I showed then, for the better imo.)
I didn’t have any experience making games or programming prior to this so keep that in mind if you want to try it out. Though everything works properly from the testing I’ve done.
