Hee hoo have an arranged marriage au!Toby

And some headcanons/lore

Toby still has tourettes and CIPA.

He also still has bipolar disorder, PTSD, and his schizophrenia.

He has a lil bit of scruff on him, because he doesn't really take care of himself. He only really shaves when he remembers to (which is inconsistent at best).

The bandage on his face is to cover the gash on his cheek.

The bandage on his nose is aesthetic.

He likes wearing ripped clothes because they make him feel cooler/more confident/sexy.

In the arranged marriage au, he is definitely a lot more self destructive than other Tobys out there (forgetting his meds, getting high, not practicing safe sex).

He's hypersexual. It's a massive problem for him that I'm gonna work into the story, where it'll cause a lot of difficulties for him and Nico.

It's very much gonna be an angstier Nicoby fic. Because I said so.

Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

Arranged marriage au ideas I have that I'm just making a note of:

Characters are aged up a little to make it a bit more comfortable.

The deal between Slender and Hades has Toby and Nico stay with each for six months of the year. The winter and spring with Hades, and the summer and autumn with Slender.

Nico and Will went through a pretty nasty breakup.

He pours himself into his work for Hades to distract from how numb he feels like, all the time.

Nico is very much trying to shield himself/lock himself away so he doesn't get hurt again. Usually either in the cabin or in the underworld.

Toby tends to be quite rude at times/takes things too far.

He also isn't consistent with his meds (as he tends to come off them when he goes on missions), which will be a hurdle for Nicoby to overcome.

Some slight Queen Charlotte vibes (Toby is kinda George coded ngl).

Nat and Leo have met and are kinda awkwardly crushing before Nico and Toby meet (because hey).

Their marriage is very much a political one at first. Mostly just to try and keep Slender as a powerful figure in the creeps' society/underrealm.

It will very much be a story of them trying to find a way to break out of a deal they didn't want in the first place - and then them finding love when they didn't expect it.

If you have any ideas for it, please let me know. As I am struggling atm, but definitely coming along.
