The take that if Trapper walked in on Hawkeye and Frank hooking up he would film their sex tape makes me laugh, but also it crossed my mind just now how would Margaret react?

I feel like there would be an initial angry humiliated and homophobic freak out, but then be relatively easily gaslit ("You're freaking out over nothing, it's fine!!") and be a calm kind of pissed off and probably say something over revealing in a sarcastic sort of way, along the lines of "Sure we all have gay thoughts..."

She would probably drunkenly compare notes with Hawkeye on Frank's relative prowess in the sack at some point. Then years later after the war be reminiscing with someone about how the chief surgeon at her MASH unit was so obnoxious, an inveterate prankster, one time for April Fool's he slept with her boyfriend! The thing about Timmy Chalamet is that he’s truly a great actor and he even has good taste in projects and he’s not even overexposed when you calibrate for how overexposed all that group of 25-30 year old big stars are……however something is still off. any time he gets cast in something it feels like that movie instantly turns into a parody of a movie.
