Chapter Two: The Illusions
Trigger Warning: Depiction of blood and gore
Day Two at the afternoon, Scar went up to the button again. No reward. He rerolled again, same task. He succeeded again, no reward. The lone surivior paced from side to side, scratching his head before he looked for some livestock for food. Thinking he should try again later.
That same evening, he pressed it again. Nothing. Just whispers emulating from the ominous statue. Scar's scarlet eyes stared at the statue. As if he was searching for something or perhaps, he was searching for someone. A being that may be invisible to the naked eye, a symbol or a sign that there was someone else here to give him answers... But nothing. Just the moss covered statue that looms over the spawn area.
At sunset, Scar just sat down at the button. His eyes stared at the ground. His eyes felt heavy, as if little beings pulled down his eyelids to help him drift. He struggles to keep them close, thinking that maybe someone will come to get him. To give him a passage to escape. To give him a chance to apologize. To hear the voice of the ones who he was of. Then maybe, he can finally have his peace and freedom. As his vision begin to darken, a familiar voice was heard.
"Come on Scar!" He looked up to see where the voice was coming from. There, before his eyes was the familiar faces of pearl, Jimmy, mumbo, and Impluse. He looked down at his hands and clothes. No sword, no blood. Just the fringes of his old green poncho for Trader Scar's. Along with the natural ground work of the familiar mound home of Pearl. He was back. His friends were back from the dead, as if his prayers were answered.
"Well, what are you waiting for, Scar?" Jimmy asked. "Come on in and get under a bed!" Pearl and Impluse made a small chuckle.
"Jimmy, you've took the last trap door!" Pearl exclaimed.
"Naaah, we can give him some." Impluse said as he searched for a trap door. He threw it to Scar's feet. "Here Scar, take this and find a spot. It's a slumber party!" Everyone cheered and laugh in agreement.
"Haha ha, it's a very weird and awkward slumber party." Mumbo said. Scar took the trap door with a smile. He felt warm and happy. This was just like before. Where everyone was still on their first life. He happily accepted the trap doors and found his little spot amongst the group. They all laughed and giggled at the ridiculous sight of what has happened in the little mound. The yellow canary avian, Jimmy Solidity turned to the Lunar Moth, Pearl.
"I just have to say, Pearl." He said with a side glance, "I am very sorry that I have started all this. I was not expecting people to join in as well." Everyone just laughed and chuckled as Pearl just shrugs it off by saying-
"Aw, naah. It's all good." She said as one of her antenna twitched a little from touching the tip of the trap door. "I'm wondering if it's gonna happen again." And soon enough, more people came. The trio from the heart foundation came along to visit the little home. The room soon felt brighter and brighter as it continued to fill to the brim of people. Gem, Cleo, Etho, Scott, Joel, Lizzie, Bdubs, even Martyn came along for his big dog.
"Well Jimmy, it looks like we are big enough for the doggy door after all. Woof Woof!" Martyn said as him and Jimmy barked and chuckled.
"Hey, we big digs can anything, right?" He said, "Woof Woof!" Soon both of them barked as the side hug each other.
"Oh great, now I have more dogs to take care of." Pearl said as she grinned and rolled her eyes. She then looked around her home that is now invaded by trap doors and people. "Is everyone here?"
"I think Grian is out and about somewhere," Cleo said. Impluse immediately took out the chatting device that they use to either privately message each other or for the whole server to see. The hologram panel appears as he starts typing and sending the message to him.
"Okay, he said he'll be here any moment." Impluse said as everyone chats away while waiting for him. They chat about their days and what they want to do next. Impluse is very persistent on making a song for the band that he, Scott, and Gem made; "Gem and the Scotts." However, everyone had different names for them. Mumbo, Joel, Pearl, and Bdubs just started rapid-fire questions at each other as part of their bonding session. The Heart Foundation trio begin discussing who they should choose next and how everyone would get a better chance at receiving hearts. The big dogs just bark and chat away about their day, and the cozy roomies of Cleo and Etho discuss what else they should add to their base.
Scar's eyes softens with comfort as he enjoys the warm sight of being with his friends. The friendly picture of community and union with everyone. He then turned to Lizzie. The first person he had wronged from his opposite day task. He knows that there may not be a chance for her to forgive him, but he doesn't want to lose another friend.
"So hey, uh, Lizzie?" Lizzie turned to Scar with a confused face.
"Yes? What is it?" She asked. Scar scratched his neck a little as he tried to find the proper words to say.
"So - I know that you can't forgive me," he said, "you know? With the cows and the murder and everything. I just couldn't avoid it. It was a task. And now that everything is over, I feel like you should be the first I should make amends with." He was expecting her to say something, or even a 'Aww! That's so sweet, Sacr!' But instead, Lizzie just tilted her head as if she was confused.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" She asked. Scar looked at lizzie with slight shock on his face. Maybe she couldn't hear him over the loud chattering. Or perhaps she had forgotten about it. Scar figured he should apologize again just in case, but just as he was about to- everyone heard a knock on the door.
Scar looked up, and there in the little opening of the pink cherry blossom door frame, was a small image of a little brown tuff of a hair. The small light brown color that Scar has associated with. A little acknowledgment of the fact that his parrot avian friend. The one person who was always by his side. The one who helped him when he didn't have much help, and the one who van put up with his crazy antics. Excited to see him again, Scar stood up from his little spot and hurried to the door, letting everyone know that he wanted to say hi to his friend first. Then, as soon as he opened the door- nothing. Instead of the short winged friend he knew, he saw something else. He saw the statue of the secret keeper. Looming over the area that Scar stood.
Confused, he turned over to his friends, only to find them laying on the ground. The crimson blood sprayed all over the ground where they laid. Creating a small, thick pool of their blood as they were scattered amongst themselves. In the middle was Grian, laying on his side, lifeless with slashes on his back and what seemed to be on his chest. A little far away was Scott, with a whole in his chest and a slash on his neck. Next to them was Joel and Bdubs, with arrows sticking out of them and multiple of swords slashes seep a small stream of blood. Skizz's body was on display with a spiked impaled into his chest, looking lifelessly at Big B, whose body was drowning in blood coming from his mouth. As if to silence him as he dies. Martyn laid down, looking at the sky with an arrow to his forehead. Jimmy, Mumbo, and Lizzie laid lifelessly on the floor just a little away from everyone else.
Scar pulled his eyes away from them and looked down at his hands. His eyes widened in shock as he made the imagery of his blood-stained hands. He pulled on the sunflower outfit and gasped in panic as he realized his clothes were back to the black color poncho decorated in the thorn red roses and poppies. He grabbed onto his hair in terror. This shouldn't be happening. He didn't do this. Just then, he heard a small faint voice.
"S-scar..." He slowly turned around and froze in terror at the sight that was presented before his eyes. Another band of bodies laid before him. Tango was displayed with his face down. His joints seemed to be distorted from the fall at Budubs house. Etho was facing up many arrows sticking from his body and a big gash of blood spilled from the slash from his chest. Cleo was presenting facing down facing etho, with her dull eyes looking at him as if to reach for him. But she was in a pool of crimson liquid spurring from her stomach. Impluse was sitting at a wall with many arrows in him, all with a red poppy as the feather tip. Gem was near him, with arrows, wolf marks and a slash at her neck. But in the middle of them, far in the back was the red lunar moth. PearlescentMoon.
In a frantic hurry, Scar rushed over to Pearl and cradled her into his arms. He pulled her cloak back to reveal her weak face, almost turning pale. She was breathing heavily, looking as if her lungs were about to collapse. He wanted to yell, scream, or even cry, but nothing was able to make a noise. He felt tears trying to form, yet his eyes were dry as sand. He didn't want to be alone again, he didn't want people to go just yet. As Scar for hitched breaths, he felt the small palm of Pearl's hand on his cheek. He looked at her and saw her eyes were turning dull, slowly becoming lifeless. Yet, she was able to make a small smile. As if to try and comfort him. Scar held her hand as he watched his last friend give way to life, and enter the realm of death. With a smile, she closed her eyes, her breathing stops, and her hand became limp. Scar's heart dropped, feeling the sense of guilt and fear. He made an attempt to scream, and finally- the words came out.
"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" And as he opens his eyes again, he was back. His friends were gone, the blood on his hand were washed away, but the sword, his outfit, and the setting- were still the same. He looked up at the night sky. Wondering if he'll ever leave, maybe he won't ever leave. But for a second, he thought he saw something above the keeper. A group of eyes starring at him. But that can't be it, there was no one else here. He thinks back to the nightmare he had, wondering if someone was watching. Wondering if there was something else they could do, but in the same time, he can't help but feel the strain on his heart as he keeps thinking to himself:
I did that. I've made that happened. I've killed them. And I don't think anyone could forgive that.
He placed a hand on his eyes, and softly cried. And in the distance, there was a small little sprout, forming inside the ground.

Take a quick read! I hope it's good at least 😅
I'm doing this. Hope you like reading this.
Sole Surivior: The Villian's Thought.
It's over. The game has ended with the sun setting in the horizon, gleaming the sky with color gradient of gold, orange, and the cheery red. But the connected path of each base bathe in the pools of crimson red. Splattered of it spread across from a side of a small cliff beside the sunflower valley. Where lays a still cold body of the Scarlett moon moth. Cover in her famous red cloak that seem to flow seamlessly to the direction of the Surivior. The one who won the game, the villian of the server, the thorn trader, the Scarlett flower Villian- GoodtimeswithScar.
He stands next to the button that shall complete his task, the task presented to him and gave him the opportunity to use the sword that now stains with bright crimson droplets. Dripping as he made his victory speech, feeling proud of himself for the tactic he played, the role that he embrace, and how he was able to seek revenge on those who had wronged him. But most of all, he is finally free. Free to be the man he wanted to be, free from the role that the great keeper of secrets force him to do, free to go back the life he wanted. A simple life where he can be friends with everyone, and to make sure to make amends with them.
He turned around to the button, raising his fist with a wide smile of pride and slamming it on the button. The statue of the keeper lights up with the color of green, showing the icon of success, but in a split second- something changed. As Scar received his hearts, the secret keeper's surged green engery slowly became purple. Making the face of it a bright violet, then it suddenly flashed back to its gray demeanor. Scar noticed this but never really thought anything about it. He was too focused on his next reward. The reward in which should allow him to go back to everyone, to make amends and retied bonds that he wish to last. To find his friends, and his found family. To give Pearl, Joel, and Bdubs a hug as a sign of appreciation for letting him join their little union. He smiled peacefully as he sat down and waited, letting the sun take his rest...
There was nothing but silence. The mobs circle in the dark corners, but the shield around the secret keeper helps Scar stay alive. But it didn't feel right. He knows it shouldn't take too long, and yet, it's close to midnight, where the moon is at its highest peek. Scar looked around, a little concern.
"Maybe there's been a delay," he told himself. "I'm sure it will be fine. I'll just press it again. Surely they will noticed two successes, right?" He rose up to his feet and calmly pressed the button again. Nothing happened.
"Aaaw, the button is broken." He said, "Eh, that's okay. We'll just reroll and see if they'll give us a task to complete." He walks over to the button next to it. The moment he pressed the button of the reroll, his eyes flashed, signaling a small scroll to appear before him. Scar grabbed the scroll and read it out loud. "Your reroll task is to... Win secret life. Right. Welp, we already did that so I'll just press the success button again and hopefully... it should work this time." So he waited again for hours.
The reward never came.

Life Series Finale and Scar's ending-
Let's talk about it.
(SPOILER OF THE SECRET LIFE ENDING)
So I know it's been about a few weeks to a month since this series ended, but I want to talk about this Au/Fan Theory concept that has been plaguing and repeatedly in my mind for a while. And looking at a comment on a video today made me want to speak about this.
So we know that for some reason, without context, without planning, and coincidentally- the secret keepers have been giving about three tasks almost in a row of making scar the villian of the server. And while admittedly he plays that role very well this season, up to the end of this season, it was also very obvious that he didn't actually thought about being the villian in the first. Especially after the opposite day task. He just wanted to make friends. Lost it with Lizzie(tho he kinda gain the respect back when he showed up for lizzie's birthday a little later), tried to make friends with the mounders, and kinda tried to make friends with grian again but all of that basically failed or just didn't got that.
Up until the Finale. Now I know he was basically making friends in order to get the upper hand on everyone, but I kinda like this idea that after the mounders finally let scar in and pearl teamed up with him until the end- I like the idea that he actually thought that once the game is over, he would like to apologize to everyone.
Martyn has/had the same idea too, where scar basically wanted to apologize and make amends with everyone but he can't. To me, I feel like that's most likely what might happen. Yes, it's interesting to have a villian character for the sake of being a villian or for his character to be more manipulated until the very end. But the trope of an "accidental villian" character is more interesting in terms of potential lore and content. Like the character who becomes a villian with no will of their own because they are FORCED to be one and tries to make amends makes for a very interesting storyline.
So the concept of secret life scar succeeding and hoping for a redemption arc only to be face with the cycle of loneliness, false hope, and slowly descending into a spiral of insanity and hopelessness, makes it very thrilling to watch and see if secret life scar will do anything to try to escape. Either it be on his own accord or by recharging, erasing his memory, and being transported to the next series. An animatic from Genrih with the audio "You Belong Here" shows a great example of how scar may start questioning his existence and probably at the beginning stage of losing his insanity. Showing off scar's previous skins from previous seasons and showing the facial expressions that depicted scar questioning the visions and the existence of him and the secret keeper.
But that's just my theory and au concept. It's been like a brain rott in my mind and I wanted to share it. Any thoughts?

An animatic from Genrih with the audio "You Belong Here" shows a great example of how scar may start questioning his existence and probably at the beginning stage of losing his insanity. Showing off scar's previous skins from previous seasons and showing the facial expressions that depicted scar questioning the visions and the existence of him and the secret keeper.
But that's just my theory and au concept. It's been like a brain rott in my mind and I wanted to share it. Any thoughts?

The night raged on as gunshots were heard throughout the kingdom. Once quiet and relax, now centered itself with chaos as the guards hunt down a band of pirates. Two of the high trio of pirates took hold of the center plaza, slicing and shooting down each guard that kept charging after them. Battle cries and screams spread like the crimson red that stains the cobble pavement.
One of the pirates was dark skin and had dreadlocks that held itself into place with a messy bun. However, two long strands of them seem to drip from both sides of his face and a few tiny ones sway in front of his dark ocean blue eyes. He cut an attacker with one of his cutlass before he started to looke around as if to find something or someone. He turned to the other one, a man with light skin and who appeared to be around his age. Probably in his late twenties, with golden blonde locks that sway down in a messy mullet, the fronts being held with a headband.
"Where's the captain??" The dark one asked as his partner shot another guard. The worry in his buddy's green eyes grew deeper.
"Have no idea!" He shouted, "it's hard to find her in this crazy mess! The damn bastards just keeps coming!" Just as they both tried to catch a breath, sounds of heavy footsteps can be heard just around the corner. The duo looked at each other and nod in agreement as they took off and split up to find their captain.
On the otherside of the city, two figures were running to the opening of the sandy shores. A tall man with dark hair and light tan skin, rushed through the alleyways as fast as he can to catch his target. Dodging filthy trash and crates to not only avoid ruining his royal attire that was adorned with gold, but to also get the lead on the escapee. He focused his sights on his main target, the Captain. A woman with long black hair, hazel brown eyes and wearing her more causal outfit that allows her to move more quickly. The woman tried her hardest to give chase, only to be met with a tropical and empty shore. Her breathing slowed down a bit, for she thought she had outrun the man.
But her breath hitch as a bullet flew passed the side of her face, nearly gazing her cheek. Her eyes narrowed as she soon realized that it was the end of the line.
The royal was breathing heavily as he finally caught up to her. His gun aligned with the sight of her head. He stood tall as he gave out his demands.
"Give it up now, Nersa!" He yelled, "Your men are not coming to save you. Put your hands up, turn around, and return that necklace. NOW." Captain Nersa slowly held her hands in the air and turned around. Finally, locking eyes with the ombre orange color eyes of the man.
"Quiet impressive, Dear Prince." She said, "You finally caught up with me after all this time. How many years was it again, Raine? Ten? Fifteen? I've lost count." Prince Raine's face sharpen in anguish as he faced the captain.
"Do you really think this is the best life for you?" He asked as he held the gun with both hands. "Living your life as a criminal? Running everyday knowing you would live everyday with regrets??" Nersa scoffed.
"Says the man who obviously doesn't remember the meaning of it." She said as she glared at him. "Especially when he is holding a gun at his own sister." The angered on his face was then transfered to her. Leaving him with the slight notion of guilt.
"What now?" She asked as she steps forward. "You going to shoot me? Tell everyone what really happened? Instead of faking my death with some bullshit story about being captured. Cause even if you do shoot me here and now. You'll be the one with regrets."
"The only regret I have is letting you walk out on me that day."
"Ironic... Cause that was the best day of my life. Because I would never be one of those lapdogs."
"YOU LEFT YOUR FAMILY BEHIND!"
"AND YOU KILLED MY CAPTAIN!!" The prince fell silent from the statement. The Captain's voice began to shake as she continued. "And never ONCE have you ever told anyone else the truth! YOU TOLD EVERYONE I WAS DEAD! THAT MY CAPTAIN KILLED ME WHEN ALL HE DID WAS GIVING ME FREEDOM AND BECAME THE FATHER THAT I ACTUALLY NEEDED!! Those boys back there were the only brothers I have! YOU... you never once came after me. You never even sent me a message in the bottle. How could you just stand there and pretend that none of that happened?" The prince bit his lip as his hands began to shake. He then lowered his gun and looked at his sister with a guilty look on his face.
"... I never could. Ever since the execution, I was never able to get that image out of my head. The fact that I killed a man in front of everyone. The fact that I thought it was all over... The fact that I thought you could come back... Those haunt me. Even more so when I've realized that what we had as family... could never be restored like this." A cold silent took hold of the air. The ocean waves crashed against the rocks before gently washing over to the sand and retracting itself. The longer Raine looked into Nersa's eyes, the more he realized that the damage was done. The anger was still there. Captain Nersa shook her head in disapproval.
"Now you know how it feels." She said. "To lose everything." And with that, she walked passed him and back into the city. Leaving him with the sorrowful thoughts and regrets. Forever to remember the heartbreak caused by his actions. Forever to acknowledge the fact that his sister, will no longer come back.
Writing Prompt #2500
"Regrets? No, no, I left those in the past."
"Oh, you make it sound easy."
"I spent years hating every fiber of my being. I wouldn't quite call it easy."

Adventures of the Mystic Seas Ch. 2
As the day of the Coronation Ball approaches, a royal princess nervously prepares herself for the meeting with the locals. Many of them asked how many more days should their gates be closed, or asking permission to use the trading routes for the marketing ships. While the princess wishes to upon up their boarders again, it wasn't up to her. 'How can I be of any use to them?' She thought as the brush untangled her blonde golden locks. 'I do not have the power to make such a change.' She looked at herself in the dresser mirror and sighed. She holds the title of a princess, she looks like a princess, she does everything she has to do as a princess, and yet -she does not feel like a proper princess.
When her parents were alive, they had everything figured out. Her father was able to handle the issues of trade goods and frequent assaults on their ships. While her mother had always been able to ease the minds of the citizens. They were an unstoppable team, an inspiration to everyone in the Kingdom. They were her role models, she wanted to be just like the two of them some day. However, this was not how she wanted the title be handed to her. She raised her head up to see the lovely portrait of her family. Her face saddens as the grief washes over her.
A life time of happiness, form between the three of them since her birth- was taken in an instance. The only thing that remains of them is the castle and the sacred jewel that was bestowed upon her. The tears come pouring down her cheeks as she thinks of the things she wished could have happened differently. As she was in thought from her sadness, a knock was heard from the door. Followed by a familiar voice.
“Saleen?" he asked. "Are you alright?" Saleen quickly wiped the tears away as she responds.
"Y-yes." She tries to compose herself as she stood up from the chair. She clears her throat. "You may come in M.r Ka'lano." With the permission granted, a tall older man with short Grey hair walks into the room. He looks at the princess with concern.
"Are you sure, dear?" he asked, "you've been inside your room for quite a while now. It's nearly noon. You haven't even come out for breakfast."
"I'm sorry. I was simply lost in my thoughts." she replies. “Please excuse me for taking so long. My mind is always a lot to think about lately.”
The elder man sighs "It's ok, dear." He then smiles "I brought you some tea." He says as he passes her a tray of hot tea, chocolate, and sandwiches.
"Thank you, M.r Ka'lano." She said with a soft smile. "But I believe I'll only have the tea. I don't feel like endugling myself with sweets today." Mr.Ka'lano set the tray down to pour the tea. He hands her the cup and saucer, along with a small plate of one of the sandwiches.
"At least eat one," he said. "You very pale." Saleen gave a small chuckle as she takes the plate and the tea. Sipping her tea as the two converse. Eventually, Saleen puts down the teacup and takes a deep breath before speaking.
"M.r Ka'lano? Can we talk for a moment?"
Mr. Ka'lano nods his head as Saleen continues, "It seems like something really horrible might happen during the coronation ball this year." He sets his cup down and stares intently at the princess.
He says "What kind makes you believe that, my dear?"
"Well," she says slowly "I know we haven't had any invaders, pirates, or even assassins in the kingdom but..." Saleen clutch her hands together. Trying to hold back the shaky feeling of fear.
"What if someone does come to the island and tries to steal the gem?" she asked. "What if they'll use the ball as a way to get into the castle's walls? If anything were to happen..." Mr. Ka'lano gently held onto her arm. Giving her a small comfort squeeze.
"You should not worry, Saleen." He assured her. "We'll have the best guards at the castle. patrolling the perimeter during the ceremony. And if all goes well, you'll be crown as the Queen of Casona. Regardless of what rules the council sets." Saleens smiled but soon fades away.
"But if it doesn't go well," she stated, "then I won't be able to take full charge. And we won't be able to open the boarders up to the allied Kingdoms." She looks back at her caretaker with worried eyes.
"The Kingdom is falling. We can't rely on just neighboring villagers. If we don't open our boarders soon, we may not be able to keep our respectful political affairs..." The princess looks down in fear and concern. fearing the worse for her kingdom. Mr. Ka'lano's face softens as he watches the princess look down in silent. To reassure her, he gives Saleen a comfort hug.
"It'll be okay, Saleen." He said. "Once they see how successful you are at handling the political affairs at the ball, they'll have no choice but give your rightful title." He pulls away and sets his hands on her shoulders.
"We'll see this through, and you'll be the greatest Queen your parents would absolutely be proud." With the words of encouragement, princess Saleen takes a deep breathe and smiled as she thanks Mr. Ka'lano. The two of them finished their tea and lunch, and departed out of the room. making preparations for the days that sets before them.
As preparations for the Ball begins, everyone in the kingdom were at full gear to make sure everything goes perfectly. Traders and marketers started putting decorations up. Selling everything made for the Coronation for half the price, and paperwork for the dock were carefully looked at to make sure no pirates were able to sneak in. It was only a few days til the grand event, but it seems as if everything was ready. With everything going so flawlessly, the princess is unsure what to do since there hasn't been a bad report for a while.
As she was deep in thought while looking out the window that opens up to the courtyard, a tall and lanky man approaches her. He looked down upon the princess, giving her a glare as she finally noticed him. His presence near her sends chills down her spine.
"Council man Janvir," she greets him nervously, "W-what a pleasure surprise. What brings you here in the castle?" Janvir scoffed and rolled his eyes at her.
"I'm here to check up on your little... "event."" He said with disgust. "After all, you refuse to meet any of your suitors due to the construction of this event. So I'm seeing to it that the progression is not delayed."
"Oh um, well... A-as you can see then, there has been no delays or reasoning for us to stop." The council man looked out in the courtyard, watching the staff moving decorations and tending the plants to ensure the beauty of the palace.
"Unfortunately so..." He murmurs. He then looks back at the princess. "In any case, since you and your staff are handling the structural work, I and the rest of the council will like to make a proposal." Princess Saleen looked at him with confusion.
"A proposal for what exactly?" Janvir looked over to his side where a saddle bag was hiding. He opened it and pulled out a scroll with a red wax seal. He handed it over to the princess as he continues.
"A proposal to invite some of your most important allies." He stated. "Royal members from the east, west, north and Central. the southern kingdom seem less interested in our affairs ever since some bands of pirates raided them." Princess Saleen opened the scroll and read the list of the supposed guests. As she read each name, she soon realized that these are the names of members with suitors that the group council would approve. She looked at him with shock.
"Janvir, we've talked about this." She said, "This Kingdom doesn't need two people at the throne. I've specifically asked for no more, and yet- you have the audacity to proposal a list containing only the royals with sons in their families?? Ones who surely want the throne for their own." Janvir huffed in disappointment.
"And you dare go against what this kingdom has been customer to for 50 years?" Frustration can be heard from his voice as he argues back. "You have no experience outside of the kingdom. You will simple fail if you were to lead this kingdom on your own!" The princess was taken aback as she looked at him in disbelief.
"I am not just leading this kingdom. I am just trying to ensure that we're prepared for the future." Janvir rolled his eyes at her.
"You're a naive child! I am doing this for the good of our kingdom. This isn't just for the crown." he snaps. "Do you want a war on your hands?! Do you want another bloody battle between nations?!" Princess Saleen was taken back and took a step backward. She stood in stunned silent until she spoke.
"O-of course not!" She exclaimed. "I would never wish such a thing upon the kingdom! As a royal, I it my duties to protect the people and ensure pe-" Janvir slammed his fist against the edge of the window still.
"WE NO LONGER HAVE PEACE!" Saleen remained quiet as he continues. "Day by day, pirates are inching closer to each boarders of the kingdom. Our army may hold them out for a while but that doesn't ensure your so called "peace," we need leadership." He glares her up and down.
"And I'll be damned if it is coming from a lowly sad of excuse woman like you for a princess." Suddenly, footsteps were heard from behind him along with a male voice.
"That is enough Janvir!" It was the voice of Mr. Ka'lano. He quickly walked up to them, stepping in between them before the situation escalates. "If it makes the council better, we will consider the invitation for the surrounding kingdom's and allies. However, we get to chose who is invited and send out the invitations ourselves. if we were to try to send out invitations to multiple families at the lady minute, then most likely not everyone will be able to attend." Janvir stared at the royal caretaker and then gave the princess a leer. The council man takes a deep breath.
"Very well then." He then fixes himself properly before turning away. "Send us the list of families you intend to invite and we'll put them on the list of guests. I'll see to it that the head count are in order." Mr. Ka'lano shout out after him before he gets too far.
"These are royal families, Janvir! each of the members are more than welcome to bring a plus one with them! So don't bother of head counts! I'll be greeting them!" While it was hard to know, they could've sworn they heard a small scoff from him as he leaves. Once the two were left alone, Mr. Ka'lano turned around to comfort Saleen. "Are you alright, Saleen?" The princess took a moment to recollect herself. Clutching and pressing her hands together to stop the shaking.
"Y-yes." she said. "I'm fine. But I believe it's about time I leave the castle for a bit. Have the guards ready an escort for me. I wish to walk into the village instead of a carriage." Mr. Ka'lano nods and helped her to the nearest guard, asking them to find an escort for Saleen. But to their unaware minds, the seas have planned something different. Something that may jeopardize the Kingdom's main event as they set their boat near the hidden coves.

Character Designs(Update)
So because I'm making a new story. I've also made a cast. However, I'm reusing some characters from my old pirate story. One of them is named Cronos. He was a very interesting character design that I liked, but wasn't 100% happy with(one of the reasons why I didn't have much motivation for). While his name is the same, the concept role of the character is the same- personality wise, I've made some changes along with his design. First: design art. Here's the before;
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's the after(tho it's only the close up head shot)
Tumblr media
So you can see there's a significant difference between the personalities. And while the lighting is not doing this picture justice- he is still a poc character. His skin is supposed to be darker than this picture is presenting. I unfortunately do not have good color pencils to get the color right.
Anyways, personality wise, you can see the difference between them. Before, cronos was made to be the stern and more practical, logical, and responsible person. However, I was focusing too much on that one character, that his interaction with the rest of the cast wasn't really up to standards. The interaction he had with other characters were just not as interesting nor intriguing to read, write, or even rp imo. The only interaction he had was with one of my other ocs and even so- it was very boring to write.
In the newer design, he is a lot happier. He takes risks, still responsible in a way, but he is a lot more adventurous. He interacts well with two other characters, and the more I build with the story, the more enjoyable it was to write the dialog and scenes that he is involved in. He acts as an older brother or a brotherly figure to some of his crewmates, but still acts very responsible as a role of being first mate. It even gives him a more likable personality than his original counterpart.
This is all I want to share atm lol. So I hope you enjoy. Byyyye!

Adventures of the Mystic Seas
Making a story about pirates, with their own world and lore. And I'll admit- I've used an AI to help. Not to total replace my writing, but to help me figure out some plot filler. To help figure out how to get from point A to point B while also putting my spin on it. It was a tool more than something I consistently depend on. Anyways, here's the first chapter-
Chapter 1
The rays of the sun blazed over the sparkling blue sea. The breeze of the wind guiding the seagulls to their next destination as it also guides a few ships as well. They were all heading east, towards the largest ocean known to the world. This was a ship filled with treasures, jewels, and other things that could only belong to a king himself. And that's exactly why he was aboard this ship, as he is on a journey to visit his brother's Kingdom in the east. The slightly overweight king stands on the deck overlooking the horizon. A guard that is sailing with him walked beside the king. He bows down to him before he gives his reports.
"It seems smooth sailing, my lord." He said. "There are no pirates or enemy ships in sight." The king nods in approval.
"As for our destination? How many more days are we?" He asked.
"We should be arriving within hours." The soldier shrugged. "About six hours left, I'd think." The king nods.
"Good," he replied, "make sure we have everything we need. Including the gifts." The guard nods before he salutes and walks away. He leaves his majesty on dock as he observes the ongoing horizon. Not realizing the dangers behind them.
Meanwhile, as the waves gently sway with the wind, a ship known as the Skull Breaker, sails the open waters heading to somewhat the same distinction. A crew of rugged pirates swab the deck, play a game of cards, and be on the lookout. Their mission is to sail into the kingdom of the Casconas and collect whatever precious gems, metals, and other treasures lie beyond its border. Collecting whatever is of value to them. As the crew go about their day, a tall dark figure steps out from under the deck. Some of the sailors nod and greet him.
"Good morning, Cronos!" They say, and in a low voice, Cronos replied.
"G'morning. Is the captain up?" he asked them. All of them made a small laugh and shook their heads.
"We wouldn't dare to set foot in her cabinets so early." One pirate answered, "I would rather not be swimming with the beasts tonight." The rest of them laughed along with Cronos. His dark dreads swaying as he shook his head.
"Alright, you sea chickens," he said, "I'll check on her myself." He then steps up to the doors to the Captain's quarters. He turns the knob slowly and opens the door.
As the door opens wider, he takes another step inside. Inside was a mess of clothing and various weapons laid out. On top of it all were various piles of money. He smiles at what he sees. Walking forward, he picks up a small bag. In it lays the ruby red crystal pendant. A gift from Prince Raine of the Southeast Island Kingdom, Von' Cova. It was for his birthday last year. His smile widens as he holds the necklace and rubs it against his shirt sleeve. Admiring its beauty as it gleam in the ray of sun.
After a moment, he hears footsteps come down the staircase. He quickly hides the bag and turns to see Captain Nersa walking down. From the looks of it, she has just woken up. Her long black hair is a complete mess compared to her loose tattered clothes. She rubbed her eyes before opening them to look around before she noticed the open door. She raises an eyebrow in confusion. Finally, looking at her crewmate, she asks.
"What're you doing here?" She says as she rubbed her head. He gives her a grin before he walks towards her.
"Just looking for the great and notorious Captain Nersa herself," He says with a slight smile, "after all, the Captain must rise up early to start the day. Or have you forgotten where we are heading?" With a slight smirk, the Captain let's out a yawn as she stretches her arms out. Almost letting the collar of her shirt go past her ears.
"And there is still such a thing as 'too early,' Cronos." She said. "Did Molly at least prepare breakfast?" She asked as she put down her weapon belt and pointed out to Cronos' belt. He quickly passed over the bag. As he noticed that he couldn't really hide it, he grabbed it and held it in his hand. She rolls her eyes and takes it as he chuckles.
"You know me too well." He said sarcastically. She shrugs before saying.
"So how many times had you tried to do this? Once or twice a month?" Cronos smirks.
"Every few months. And not every week." Nersa laughs.
"Well, I guess we better head under the deck to the kitchen. Check up on how the others are doing." She walks over to the dresser and starts searching for her coat. "Is Philp up yet? Or did you just decide to annoy me first?" Cronos laughed as he rested his hand on the hilt of his sword.
"He's up," he responds while the captain dressed herself with the coat, "last time I've checked, he was downstairs helping Molly prepare breakfast." Nersa side eyes Cronos as she puts on her hat. Cronos raises both hands in defense.
"No worries, Captain. Molly is making sure no one is getting burnt food... or food poisoning."
Nersa smirks once again. "That would explain why everyone has been complaining about food being too salty... and overcooked..."
They both share a laugh as they walk down the stairs and make their way to the kitchens. A few moments later, as everyone settled down to eat and enjoy their food, a tall blonde man approaches Cronos and Nersa.
"So? How's the food?" he asked as he sat down. Cronos and Nersa looked at each other and then back to him.
"Did you even bother to taste your food, Philp?" Cronos asked. The man known as Philp chuckles with a wide smile.
"A good chef should trust his instincts," he said. Nersa hands him her bowl of rice porridge.
"Then the chef should have the honor of tasting his own food," she claims, "since he seems sooo confident." Philp makes a nervous smile as he looks at the porridge. After a few seconds, he turned his head away from it as he sighed.
"Okay, fine," he said with defeated confession, "Molly was the one who fixed the porridge. Apparently, salt and sugar aren't the same thing." Both the captain and first mate laughed. Already under the impression that the true chef had to fix breakfast.
"You were right there," Cronos said, "How did you mess up a simple recipe if she was right beside you? Were you even paying attention to what Molly was saying?" Philp smiled sheepishly.
"I might have heard a bit too much," he confessed with a slight blush. Both Cronos and Nersa laughed.
"Of course you did, Philp." He said. The cook looks down sadly.
"Well, I'm a fighter! Not a chef!" He exclaims as he blushed, "but we haven't been in days out here. Not ever since we left the southeastern islands. Not even a royal navy ship showed up."
"And that's a good thing," the captain said, "our next destination will have a navy army of their own. We can't attract more attention to ourselves on another island." It took Philp a bit to realize where exactly they are heading.
"Casona? I thought that Kingdom was going down under." He said. Nersa shook her head as she finished up her breakfast. Wiping her face with a napkin.
"Not since a princess took over," she explains, "Since her parents' death, her and her advisor had been taking charge of the kingdom. However, since she's only a princess- she is limited to local affairs. In order for her to completely take charge, she has to be a queen."
"Why haven't they crowned her queen?" Philp asked. Both Cronos and Nersa shrugged. Both claim that it's not any of their problem. The only thing they should care about is what to do once they reach the shores. Just as they started their conversation about going over the plans, someone from the crow's nest shouted out-
"SHIP AHEAD!! SHIP AHEAD!" He exclaims. Everyone stopped eating as the captain and the two men next to her stood up. The person in the nest pulled out a telescope and zooms in on the boat. "4th degrees starboard heading the northeast! It looks like a royal's ship!" Philp and Cronos grinned wide by the mere mention of "royal." To them, this simply means more treasure for the taking. Nersa noticed their grins at the sudden report. She rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit. She shouts back to the crewmate.
"Are there any navy men on board?!" The boy shook his head as he responded.
"It's not as many!" He said, "and as far as I can see, there doesn't seem to be any other ships surrounding the area." Nersa thought for a moment before she started heading towards her cabinet. Waving her hands to the other two.
"I'll come out once I get my weapons," she said, "go have fun giving them the royal treatment." Cronos and Philp look at each other as they smile from the statement. In a thunderous voice, Cronos gave the command.
"EVERYONE PREPARE YOURSELVES!" He ordered, "gather up your weapons and prepare for a quick and easy raid! Take out every scrawny ass marine man you see. Make sure you tie up the remaining on goings and survivors of that ship before we take every last gold they have. Show them we're a crew of pirates to be fear. And take what's ours for the taking! NETHER RAIDERS! LET'S PREPARE THE ASSAULT!"
The crew roared with excitement and encouragement. They scattered around to go to their posts. They started changing their sails and gathering their weapons. Cronos told Philp to man the cannons in case if there's a fire back. Leaving him on deck to control the main attack.
As their boats start to close in, the boat of the noble king remains unaware of its presence. He then went back to his quarters, sitting in his chair as he wrote a letter. Having the curtains close with only a single lamp hanging from the ceiling. The lamp sways with the ocean current as he writes a letter to his brother. Just as he starts finishing the first sentence, a bell starts to ring from the deck.
"PIRATES! PIRATES!" A Marine boy shouted, "PIRATES ON THE STERN PORTSIDE!" The king rushed out of his cabinet and out behind the boat. his eyes widen with fear as he sees a Jolly Roger flag hanging from the main mass. He quickly ordered his men to take their positions. Raising the sails and hoping the winds of the season are on their side.
As the sails begin to move, some marines begin to take notice of their movements, but the wind wasn't blowing in the right direction for the sails to be properly moving. Their eyes widen in shock, and they all start yelling out at once.
"THE SAILS AREN'T ABLE TO PICK UP THE WIND!" "WHAT DO WE DO NOW?!" "THEY'RE COMING! THEY'RE COMING!" As the pirate ship starts to catch up, a group of the guards rushed out from under the deck, ready to battle as they quickly escorted the King below the deck.
On the Skull Breaker, the crew grabbed a line, ready to raid the boat as they approached them. Philp came up to the deck and tapped onto Cronos' shoulder. The first mate turned back to be greeted with the face of his crewmate. "Is something the matter?" he asked. Philp shook his head.
"The opposite actually," he said, "it seems there's no cannons on the ship." Cronos looked confused by the statement.
"No cannons?" Philp shook his head to confirm. It seems the lookout also reported that there were no windows for the cannon, nor were there any cannons on the ship.
"It's most likely that this ship was meant only for light travels. So we might not get what we hope for." Cronos sighs in disappointment. He was expecting to have a big haul from the raid at the very least. He stares at the boat and notices that it isn't stopping.
"In any case, it wouldn't be much of a fight if they kept going. besides, they might warn the navy at Casona," he said, "fire some warning shots. Just to make them slow down to a stop." Philp nods in understanding and heads down to the cannons. He loads one up, aims for the bow of the ship, and fires the cannon ball into the water. Making the boat rock as water splashes onto the deck of the royal's ship.
The ship starts to rock rapidly as everyone aboard it was shocked by the sudden attack. A loud thud could be heard throughout the hull of the ship.
"What the hell?!" The king cries. The guards reassured the king of his safety. Commanding some of the others to go help the men on the deck and rowers. Though, it does not seem to help at all.
"I don't think they heard us~" one of the Nether Raider's mates commented. Philp fired another warning shot this time, near the stern. The pirate crew laughed as they heard the panic of the small marine group. As the group of royal marines realized they could no longer sail away, they all agreed to stand their ground and lower their anchor. The Royal ship isn't as big as the Skull Breaker, but it was big enough to fit quite a large number of people. The sight of the jewel embedding rails was enough to make the crew grin with greed.
As they approached the ship and came to a stop, Cronos raised his sword in the air and commanded the charge. Each one of the pirates swing their lines to hop on board the ship. Swinging their swords to slash down any marine that comes after them. While some of the soldiers tried to fend off their attackers. Some just ran off while others were killed. As soon as they were inside the ship, they split into groups of two to find treasure.
For the first part of their journey, there isn't much worth stealing, mainly just some chests of gold and silver coins. Eventually, they found a few of those chests filled with jewels. The crew smiled as they gathered them. As for the second party, they started rounding up survivors- tying them up with bounds of ropes and tying them as tight as possible. This way, they won't be able to get free.
After rounding up the last marine alive, they threw them overboard. One of the Nether Raiders was getting ready to throw his hook when he saw the figure walk up on the deck of the Skull Breaker. The captain herself approached the scene, she scanned the deck in search of any more marines. She looks back to the Nether raider with the hook and singles him to continue. He throws the hook to one of the poles and swings over to the brig. Soon after, Captain Nersa follows suit.
She landed onto the deck and took a look around the scene. Tied up marines hung their heads down in embarrassment, ashamed of the outcome of their fight against her crew. Her own men were only scraped with minor injuries. In all fairness, it looks like it wasn't much of a fight. After a few moments, Cronos noticed the presence of the Captain as she walked up to him.
"Successful raid, I presume?" she asked. Cronos tilt his head a little as he gives his conflicting report.
"Eh. Only a few chests with gold and silver," he answered, "Oh. We did find some gems. However, it's not as much as we hope for." He guides her to a small chest and opens it. Rubies, sapphire, emeralds, and pearls. It all seems to be legitimate, but not as much as she was hoping for. Nersa thought for a moment as they stopped at the front of the steps.
Not exactly the kind of report she was hoping for either. After all, this is supposed to be a Royal's ship. Surely, there has to be more than just a small chest full. She asked where the Royal of this ship was. Just as Cronos was about to reply, a few of the Nether Raiders march up the steps as they present a tied up and gaged large man dressed in a luxurious coat made from velet and wearing a golden necklace around his neck.
"We've found this guy way below deck," one of the Raiders said. "He was surrounded by Marines, but we took care of them." The other nod and told them to look at what else they found. He took out a golden crown from his bag. It was embedded with rubies and emeralds. This pleases the Captain and the first mate.
"Well, well," she said as she walked towards the captive, "It looks like this raid isn't a total lost after all. Remove the gag from his mouth." One of them untied the gag from his mouth. The king coughed as he angrily glared at the pale woman.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM!?" He exclaimed, "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TREAT ME THIS WAY! I AM THE KING OF FROVISTIA! I'LLHAVE YOU PIRATES THROW INT-!" The pirate captain gave him a hard jab to his abdomen, cutting him off from finishing his statement. She then raises a sword up to his neck, the blade just barely touching the skin. Beads of swear form as the king went dead silent from the sight of sword.
"I don't really care who you are. But let me tell you one thing," she says and points the tip of her sword closer, "this is no loss to me. After all, it seems you have a pretty fancy ship here." She looks around and notices the trimming of the rails are encased in gold with embedded jewels as an accent.
"I think it's best for you to make a deal." And with that, the railings, the gold, the chest, a few days' worth of food, and even the gems that were on the crown were taken by the pirates. As Captain Nersa took the last jewel from the crown, the crew threw the tied up bodies and the king himself into the cellar. Tossing the now empty crow into the room.
"You're going to leave him the crown?" Philp asked. Nersa smirks as she turns around.
"It'll serve as a reminder of how pathetic this defeat was." She comments, "Besides, gems on crowns? Very overrated." And with that, they slammed the doors shut. Laughing as they board the Skull Breaker and set their course back to Casona. Leaving the boat to drift along the currents.

It was late into the night as the restaurant closed. The lights were still on, the doors were unlock, and it had a warm demeanor that contrast the glooming raining weather. Andy, the manager of Tony's Bristol, started to lose sight of his work as his eyes began to feel heavier. A 12-hour shift on top of a fully house with five reservation parties and prepping dinner for the next ten parties that is booked on the same week really catches up to him. He didn't even have room to breathe. Now, he is trying to manage the income and recording the tax information to figure out how much is left for the restaurant itself. But soon after his first few pages, he drifted to sleep. He rests his face in his hand that stands on his elbow.
He was soon awakened by a small knock on the door. He jolts up to see his best friend and employee, Jasmine, standing in the doorway. She looks at him with confusion as papers flew everywhere when he woke up.
"Were you... sleeping?" She asked. Andy quickly straighten himself up as he answers.
"N-no, um... I was just closing my eyes for a moment." But Jasmine didn't seem convince as he rubbed his eyes. She walked over and helped him collect the papers that were scattered across the desk.
"You should go home Andy." She said with concern. "You look like you've came back from the dead." Andy shook his head.
"If I were to do that, then there would be nobody to take care all of this." Jasmine sighed.
"Tony can take care of it. He's coming back tomorrow. You shouldn't have to worry about that." Andy stared at her for a moment. He then sighed with his eyes closed in defeat.
"You're never gonna stop nagging me until I go home, huh?" His best friend chuckled.
"That's the plan." She said. He opened his eyes and thought for a moment.
"Okay, fine." He said. "Let's just stack these up and put them on the side. It's getting late. And if we don't get going- it'll rain harder." The two of them get to work and start stacking up the papers to one side. While it them a few minutes, they were able to get everything done. All the dishes were washed, the restaurant was spotless, and the work papers were neatly stacked in order of what was finished and what was not by date. They put on their coats and grabbed their umbrella before heading home for the night.
Writing Prompt #2427
"You need to stop pushing yourself like this."
"Then we need someone else to do the work I do."

Idk exactly how this works, but I'll just use this as the prompt/guidelines. Credit to @promptsforthestrugglingauthor above. And here's a little scene with this quote.
As the night fades away on the sea...
The party for which the Nether Raiders pirate crew seemed to be the only thing alive. The lights of the lamps gleam in joy, the smell of booze and food mixed in with the salty sea air. All the while, the crew endugled themselves with singing and dancing entertainment. They have just saved the villagers from the corrupted hands of the Royals of Clestial island. It was their time to celebrate. With smiles on faces, however, not everyone is enjoying the song and dance. For temporary pirate, the princess of Cosona Kingdom- stares out into the waters.
She looked down at the reflection of her drink. Not recognizing herself anymore as she stares back. How many days has it been? 20? 40? She doesn't remember anymore. It's all a blur, and what's worse is how naive she was to try to negotiate with the corrupted prince. For he only wanted her kingdom as he tried to marry her. A deal she should have never made in the first place. What would Mr. Ka'lano think if he found out that the one who he raised as his own daughter was about to sold herself to someone who he even wouldn't approve? He and her parents would be disappointed.
"You doing okay, princess?" A voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She turned around and saw Captain Nersa. The captain was in her ordinary attire. A loose blouse, not laced up all the way along with her black pants that is wrapped and held together with a red scarf that seemed to act as a belt. Her long black hair flowed lightly as she stood there, looking a bit concerned for the princess.
*Ahem.* "Yes, I'm fine." She said as she looked back to the ocean. Captain Nersa stared for a moment and starts to walk down to her.
"You're really bad at lying." She said, "Otherwise, you would be back with the crew. Celebrating the victory we've managed to pull off." The blonde hair princess was silent for a while. Long enough for the Captain to join with her and admire the view set before them. As the minutes passed by, the Captain spoke.
"What's on your mind, Saleen?" She asked. Saleen looked up from her dazed state.
"Pardon?" The captain sighed and spoke again.
"You were awfully quiet since we've rescued you from the prince. You didn't said a thing to the villagers." Saleen was a bit surprised that she even noticed. But after a second of recollecting her thoughts, she responds.
"How... do you..[sighs] how do you all handle this?" She finally asked.
"Do what?" Saleen gestured to the whole ship.
"All of this! The running, the schemes, the fights, the ridicules - you weren't even phased when Prince Herbert tried to kill you!" She then looked down as she remembers back to Prince Herbert. "And Prince Herbert..." Saleen grabbed herself by the arm as she begins to shake.
"He never cared about his people. He didn't even want to walk out to see the damage he had caused... He...He treated them [sniff] HE TREATED THEM LIKE NOTHING! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER WOULD LEAVE HIS OWN PEOPLE TO DIE IN A FROZEN WASTELAND!?" Saleen soon broke down, sobbing as she kept shaking.
"We royales are supposed to set examples! We are supposed to be the ones who brings peace and harmony to our lands! Why would he do that to them!?" Saleen continues to sob for a moment until she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see Nersa looking back at her with softness in her eyes.
"Not all royales share the same values." She said. "A lot of them don't even care if you made the greatest deal of their lives. You tried to marry yourself to him to save his people? Tsk. He never wanted that. He only takes what he wants, he would never give in to his side of the deal." Princess Saleen look down again, feeling frustrated and betrayed by her own values. Is this how it really is out in the world?
Nersa noticed the look on Saleen's face. She closed her eyes and sighs again. "The world is not like your kingdom, Saleen. As we sail off to retrieve the gems, we will encounter people who aren't willing to listen. Like the tides of the ocean, it's treacherous. Unpredictable possibilities that may crash against us like the waves in a storm. We have to have the heart to face them, never backing down and to put ourselves against the crashing currents. For if we were to stand by, the mother of the seas would swallow us whole." Saleen looked back to the ocean.
"I would be more afraid if I understood anything you've just said." The captain just laughed as she stared back at the sea in admiration.
"Well, just trust me when I say that it's dangerous out there. And if we stop now, the journey is going to make death seem the most optimal option." Saleen glanced over to Nersa, watching the sea glisten in her hazel eyes before she stare back at the sea herself.
'If the world is as cruel as Prince Herbert,' she thought, 'then it's not my time to come back home. As the venture moves on, I will ensure that each kingdom is treated with the respect they deserve.'
And so, the ship drifts off, seeking the search for more treasure and for the princess- a lingering hope for peace.
Writing Prompt #2459
"I would be more scared if I understood a word of what you just said."
"Well just trust me that it's dangerous and if we don't stop it, it's going to make death seem preferable."
