i got triggered the other day and its day 2 of being triggered and sensitive and now i cant sLEEP

My uber driver the other day was really insensitive about child grooming and p*dophilia and that rlly fucked me up and threw me into a ✨few days long ptsd episode✨. If u have mental illnesses too, do u ever notice its like u only notice ur in the thick of an episode when it gets REALLY bad? Like when ur crying at work for hours while continuing to work and making a bunch of mistakes and u get really embarrassed and when ur boss makes you feel stupid or is condescending u get too scared to ask for help and so u just keep fucking up but u cant take time off for mental health because u already used all ur allowed time off for the year for mental health. Its like i get a few weeks/days of peace and then all of the stuff from the past and the current overwhelm me and flood my brain and its like im drowning in intrusive thoughts. I wish i did more with my time outside of work but its like lately ive just been reeling from the recent past and that sends me spiraling into my memories and insecurities and then i like isolate myself because im afraid im corruptive to other people but idk how to be different but obviously what im doing rn isnt working.

Ps. I feel so free to vent here wow its so cozy. I nearly never talked about my personal life on fb bc it was waaay too public ówò this is nice. Idc what anyone says, everyone likes the idea of a virtual diary and other people relating to them.
