Note from Author Chan: It’s been a while since I’ve posted! I have recently began taking my classes online again, so you might think it’s because I’m busy, but if I am to be completely honest--I get random bouts of depression and it sucks the creative drive out of me. When you’re at a low point, and you are unable to put out anything or really get motivated, it’s easy to feel like you’re lazy or simply not trying enough. 

To anyone who is reading this who has felt this way, I assure you this is not the case--the fact that you acknowledge a lack of progress in and of itself means you care and therefore are trying. And that’s all that matters. A little cheat code I’ve learned--stating the phrase “this too shall pass” often gives me incentive to carry on in dark times.

The noise, by the way...didn’t stop. I hear it all the time--ringing in my head like an alarm I can’t silence, telling me how imperfect everything is and why I need to fix it. It screeches in my ears and sometimes I feel it gets so intense I can’t feel anything at all--and that’s what scares me.

I wanna drown it all out--and I just feel like by some twisted miracle if I take my last breath, I can finally breathe. I understand...if that’s hard for you all to grasp.

Hint at? Just about every artwork you have of them is tagged as a ship. Have you thought about your minor audience? Minors being attracted to adults shouldn’t be encouraged as it may lead to being seen as normal, or even pursue to date said adult. As a survivor of child sexual abuse I can guarantee that this mentality fucks you up forever, the trauma never leaves and you never get your childhood back. I don’t want what I went through to be thought as normal for other minors.

Yes, I do tag them as a ship, because I have no issue with the side of the fandom that sees them in a romantic light. Because I know the people who do mean no real life harm to anyone. But again...I write them in a platonic setting, so I highly doubt my work would cause harm to any real life individuals. 

I’m sorry you went through that, that’s awful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. But I mean no harm. All I’m trying to do is provide a positive safe space for fans of the story to engage with. I wish you the best.

I have no intention of replacing ray and zack, You are still able to ask them questions as much as you'd like.
