something my therapist shared with me the other day was that she has recently had an influx of cishet male clients dating nb femmes who use she/they pronouns. should be a good thing! acceptance of nb people! right?

nope! apparently, very, very few of these clients respect their partner’s pronouns in session. when pressed on the issue, many respond “well, she looks femme” or “my friends wouldn’t get it.”

to all the nb femmes out there, you are valid, and please be careful who you are letting into your life. not everyone who respects your identity to your face will respect you when you’re not around
