So I've been recently informed by a couple guys in my life that it's considered impolite and ungentlemanly to turn down a lady making advances and I'm suddenly very concerned for them? He was talking about how he ended up kissing a girl he didn't want to kiss, so I asked, why didn't you tell her that you weren't interested? And he said, "I can't do that, that's rude!" ???? In case any guy is reading this-you are entirely within your right to say no as well, that doesn't make you ill-mannered or any other negative adjective, for that mattter. You're allowed to draw boundaries for yourself!

Had a dream that the cast of doctor who was having a meeting outside my house, and they kept waving to me inside my room. Then David Tennant comes in and I’m like invisible or something cause he only notices and talks to this other girl who was in the room with me… truly tragic.

An Essay about Authentic Queer Narrative & Why SCOY deserves more credit

Looking through the tags, it’s obvious that a lot of people watch the first episode of SCOY, get a little freaked out and drop it or fast forward through parts because of “cringe”. However, I’d like to give some explanation as to why it is the way is and hopefully bring some appreciation to honestly one of the most authentically queer BL I’ve seen.

i watched all 7 episodes of secret crush on you last night and i’m not gonna lie, at first, toh’s obsession crush on nuea made me unconfortable, but as the show went on i realized that toh always thought the pictures, the soda can and other trinkets he keeps, are the only things he is allowed to have.

he and his friends are outcasts, they are not the hot popular guys. they aren’t allowed to touch, only look, dream, fantasize. 

that became very clear as jao kept running away from sky, even though sky has been very open about his intentions. he’s “chubby”, he’s not the kind of guy sky is “supposed” to want.

toh is much the same, he tells nuea he’s “happy” with just admiring his crush from afar, because he thinks this will remain as that secret crush you have in college and after they graduate, that will be the end of it. they don’t take sky and nuea’s actions seriously, nuea for example is “just teaching” toh how to kiss.

it’s very obvious that nuea and sky have feelings for them. sky spent an entire night outside waiting for jao to turn off his lights (!!!!!) , nuea is out there telling everyone, including his ex-affair (?friend with benefits?), he likes this person (toh) and he’s serious about them.

it’s very obvious, but only to us.

Why You Should Keep Fruit In Mason Jars Instead Of The Containers They Come In…….
