I created this dude cause i have this hc where Raz has a developed an interest in knitting and stitching in a couple years in current time, maybe 2 years. An archetype that helps his wears and to create them

They just made their nsfw tumblr semi-public where there’s a lot of nsfw of their future psychonauts au which, if given the benefit of the doubt is a little weird but it’s a developed au so I was at least semi-unconcerned by the intentions.

However, they have posted incest content (specifically of Dion/Raz from one post I’ve seen. I’m under 18 so I don’t have access to anything beyond the tags, but this screenshot comes from a mutual of mine and I can see the tags myself on their ns//fw blog. INCEST MENT. IN THE NEXT TWO IMAGES)

Dogen’s “Man in the chair” status is a more recent position for him! He used to be out on the field, most often paired with Raz and Lili because of how well they all work together!

His partially-self-imposed-partially-Psychonauts-mandated desk position was a sudden demotion after a mission gone wrong.

The long and short of it was that during a hectic fight, Dogen tried using his blastokinesis as a last-ditch effort for a big attack, and quickly realized that he still does not focus his mental powers well under pressure. Although he’d been working for a long time on being better at focusing his explosions on a specific target, he struggled to keep a clear head and as a result, Raz almost lost his.

The more angst-filled sides of Dogen’s story revolves around his lack of an ability to trust himself, and the strange support he gets from the psychonauts. He’s very strong! scarily so! The people in charge don’t really know how to deal with it beyond telling him to “keep it under control” and sending him to Otto to add a new hat to his ever-growing collection. (Compton, much as he tries, really isn’t much help. He sees way too much of himself in Dogen and it freaks him out to no end, and he has about as much of an ability to control himself under pressure as Dogen. His only benefit is being decades older than his grandson and “just get old and learn to turn your thoughts into static” isn’t… great advice?)

The signs in dogens story point towards “doing something really fucked up in a moment of desperation because he can’t think of anything else better” and I’ve definitely got ideas for some psychonauts opponents who would be more than willing to take a young, desperate Psychonaut under their wing when he’s at his lowest point. That’s still a bit of a work in progress, but I would like to get that down soon!! (It involves a lot of my ideas surrounding Elka Doom and her family)

At first I was going to lean way more into the Psychonauts being the main reason Dogen feels isolated after The IncidentTm, but decided that I really don’t see that as realistic in his situation. He’s a part of the main branch of Psychonauts workers, the ones very connected with the OGs and with leaders like Truman and Hollis, who I don’t see putting some 20 year old under total isolation for fucking up. Plus, I think his story being a more self-imposed outcast, self-fulfilling prophecy idea to be much more compelling for his character.

MAYBE I’ll lean into it more idk.. I’m still fleshing out how the psychonauts look after 13 years n it’s not something I’ve thought of too much. UHHRMM there’s probably more to all of this but I’ve already gone insane rambling so!! Thank u if you even skimmed through all this!! Tldr: this is my friend Dogen he has every disease
