look at izzy immediately after ed grins at his quip.

even when he loves someone else, (a strange, naive man with inane ideas of the seafaring life), all of it being very visibly more than izzy’s own i loved you, best i could —

even when iz has to invoke the memory of someone else in order to make ed crack a smile —

he will do what it takes time and again, even at great personal injury, to make sure edward teach is happy. to make sure that, even if izzy never speaks of his feelings outright again, he can at least wrap ed in small moments of levity to ease the heaviness of it all…

regardless what you think about the relationship between izzy and ed: this is love. deeply felt, enduringly beautiful, and fucking devestating.

Turns out its actually a video.

In this video (and actually even the thumbnail) you see taika playing ed covered in blood? And then someone on the ground. The person on the ground is wearing something bright blue on their foot, which is very similar to what Con has been wearing to cgi his leg out of scenes.

It very well could be Izzy in this scene, but I still don't believe that means he is going to die. Like with all the teasers and bts promo that hbo has been putting out with this show, I doubt they'd be foolish enough to shove in a scene where a major character dies in it, if it anything its an intentional red herring.
