GRATEFUL. Have you ever taken a moment to just realize that the fact that YOU have clothes that YOU can iron in a place/home where you CAN iron clothes is a great thing? I mean this seriously. Have you ever walked into your room and said "oh my God, look at all this stuff I have to iron"? But take a step back.. and say "thank you God for ALL this STUFF I have to iron"! Personal story: I used to have to use the hall closet at my rented home while I was growing up. And I was happy. Now I have a walk in closet- take a second to marinate on that. I have a bed to sleep in now, I used to have a couch bed that folded out, and it was a hand me down, but I loved it. take a minute to think about that. Let's all just say "thank you" sometimes to GOD, the universe or whatever religion you practice. Just remember: The phrase "God is good all the time..." ain't just for a bumper sticker! I hold #Reefs truths to be self evident, but whatever you choose to claim just know that life is pretty great even when it's not. As you can see: these are the stages of ME and COVID-19. So I tested POSITIVE on Monday May 23rd 11pm. On Tuesday May 24th morning I tested POSITIVE again. To be sure, Tuesday afternoon I did the PCR test (those are my results) from Walgreens. From then on, we went into Hard Core ISO MODE. Went to Target had them put a BED, water and??? in the back of my truck (so I have a twin mattress self inflating bed) while masked up. We already have alot of vitamins (thanks wife), a lot of "outside by myself" eating and once my son tested POSITIVE (Thursday may 26th- I guess thats when it showed the results, but he tested on Wednesday the 25th) we ate together. So- we just been going back-and-forth hiding in out rooms or the backyard. And I share a bathroom with my teenager. The women have been isolated from us as well. But today I'm negative!!!! and this has been a journey, I missed my daughter's dance shows (1st time that's ever happened intentionally). I'm imagining my son will be negative tomorrow as well... Just trying to get the boy to graduation and to keep our family healthy(er). Gotta Still Iso a bit, but now I can return to work and he can school. But GETTING to the graduation and not getting my wife or daughter sick ANY DAY is the GOAL. Thank you for your prayers, remedies and well wishes PLUS thank GOD for grace & mercy. I'm not cooning or cosigning, but I really am happy that I had the vaccine and the booster. READ THE FINE PRINT! I'm so happy that my daughter is OK and that she wasn't permanently harmed by this incident, but I don't think it's fair that my wallet has to be harmed by this incident either! We Both Lost 6hrs in the E.R. that night 😳 We Still love @portosbakery , but I will read every single thing they have on their menu, every item & every ingredient from now on. And thank you to @childrensla for keeping BOTH my kids safe whenever we have to come in there (and it isn't often). CHLA has the most patient and kind ER staff IVE ever experienced.
