One of the best parts of Super Robot Wars is how easy it makes getting your friends into new mech shows.

In the foreground is a Z’Gok standing with its claws spread wide, its monoeye glaring at the viewer. In the background is a Hygogg, and the silhouette of another Hygogg, each monoeye glowing gold. Divers with harpoons swim between the mech’s legs, bubbles coming from their tanks. Light streams from between the ice caps, casting dappled light on the mechs. End ID.]

This might be because the game has yet to get to a show I actually care about, but as far as I’m concerned, Super Robot Wars T is about the adventures of a bunch of wacky bisexual gals and also Tetsuya is there sometimes.

Really wondering where the “Witch from Mercury was cut short” rumors started, given that the series was announced as a twenty-five episode (including the prologue) production from the beginning.

Found this song from New Getter Robo and was disappointed to see no one had posted it, so I decided to post it myself.

I had come across a post where someone was asked what their top five Vision of Escaflowne songs were, and so I want to share mine!
I'm not really good at writing summaries for each song, but anyway...I hope you like the music!
First Vision
It originally plays as the opening sequence for the movie (personally one of my favorite parts) AND IT SLAPS!! Going from the feeling of flying to slaughtering all your enemies on board an airship to get back what's yours. Epic.
No Need for Promises
The opening sequence for the anime. It is sung by my favorite Japanese songstress, Maaya Sakamoto, and is probably one of the first Escaflowne songs I've heard. Here's the full version.
Sora
An insert song from the movie. It sounds so pretty! I use it as my alarm to tell me to go to bed.
Yubiwa
Another song for the movie, and sung by Maaya Sakamoto. It's also one of my first Escaflowne songs.
Dance of Curse
An insert song in the anime (and a different version in the movie) that is used when the Escaflowne goes to battle. I really like the fervent sound of the violins in the beginning.
(Bonus songs under the cut)
Bonus 2: Bird Song
I realized I couldn't leave out two other songs that I adore, so they're bonus songs.
Memory of Fanelia
An orechestral rendition of 'Aoi Hitomi', this song is also pretty!
If you think you've heard this song before, you have (it's also in the 'First Vision song). This makes you feel like you're flying, right? I sometimes use it as the alarm to wake me up.

Loving this bit in SRW T where the gang gets Isekai'd and Bright is just like, "Yeah sure, why not?"
They really love putting this man in situations

While I don’t dislike G Gundam, I can never really enjoy it because everything about it reads to me as just a watered-down super robot anime. It’s trying to be very different from the rest of Gundam — which I respect — but it doesn’t commit hard enough to the super robot aspects.
