The glass sparkled with her choice of bubbly flirtation. A little fancier than most girls like her should have. Lucking out the way she did made it possible to do a little splurging on herself. She does get enough in a paycheck working for her friend of all people but she's come up from the casual world of cheap wine coolers. It's always nice to have a crisp taste of champagne. Sometimes it's better to share and she caught sight fairly quickly of anyone who stood out to her. Part of her job does require to be reflexive and observant.

"Hi," Gloria spoke freely, giving a little smile, forcing herself to be outgoing. "Have a job you're getting away from too?"

The last thing she needs is more when running into your muse who has nothing but questions on HOW she snagged the business from under her fiance's ex-wife.

"Have you any idea how difficult this shit is?"

Stone cold is a new shade of lipstick and she wears it well. Today it all spilled red hot irritation. She had no room to give anybody's questions the time or day. Even if it came from someone she knew, Natalie wouldn't mince words. When has she ever let anyone get a leg up? She's a cool collected cat on most days. Throw in personal tragedy, mix it up in a martini glass of ex spousal drama and suddenly she's drowning.

She shook her head. Aggravation riled her more than anything. But that's some sheer audacity seeping through. Who the hell questions somebody on their business? A nosy thorn in her proverbial bush. "If you think it's so damn suspicious I got hold of that place when I was gonna marry that man it's on you. I could care less what you think. Or what his ex-wife thinks. She's his damn ex for a reason. So why not cut me some slack?"

Maybe a little more shock than she wanted to admit? Just about the kind of thing to make her go haywire but as usual she is cool as a feline slinking through a back alley.

Landon is a face she can remember without much thought back. The past has a way of bringing up the inevitable. He wasn't her boyfriend. He wasn't even a blink in her eye until having the audacity to come back to this city. A lot of people remember Natalie Hill as that bitch. She had a bad reputation in college for causing drama but he never judged. Too sweet for his own good? Well, if that's true to this day she does love candy.
