Garlic
Genuinely, I don’t know how else to get the word out, but I feel like if your home-cooked dinners don’t taste right, you're missing either paprika, sugar, butter, or chicken bouillon.

Sorry, you've got the wrong guy. I was a Euphrates goat.
Can I please have a cappuccino but with oat milk and a big pump of sugarfree chocolate syrup and... Lol I remember your stupid ass from 2,300 years ago. We were living in seleucis on the tigris river during the same span of summers... do you rememver a red ibis bird with beautiful plumes? Yeah U were a sort of dull brown goat that didn't train and dint make milk or kids. Yeah? No? Eventually the Zoroastrian homesteaders who owned you started feeding you contaminated barley to try and kill you lol. Maybe you remember the ergotism? Anyway. also I want one of these 🫵stupid little breads in the case

You know what I think the problem is with Butch Hartman? His ideas have incredible potential, and audiences see that potential and resonate with his shows; but that potential is never realized, because ironically, the man who made them doesn't see them.
Take Fairly OddParents: a miserable little boy is granted magical godparents who grant whatever wish he makes in an effort to improve his childhood; but these godparents will be taken away, and his memory subsequently erased, when he grows up.
Holy CRAP, what a good idea. You take the Cinderella story, and turn it into a metaphor for maturity; learning to stop indulging fantasies as you grow older and wiser. A metaphor for escapism, and how it's ultimately an unhealthy way of dealing with hardship (given how often Timmy's wishes go awry in the show).
But Fairly OddParents isn't that. It's just a cartoon about a boy who makes irresponsible wishes, learns a valuable lesson, and repeats the cycle ad infinitum. For sixteen years. Timmy never has to grow up; indeed, a few movies come out (I just watched the Quentin Reviews video about them) that show that, through a loophole in the fairy system, Timmy's able to KEEP his fairy godparents well into adulthood, remaining immature and effectively omnipotent for as long as he wishes! And when he's finally forced to confront losing his fairy godparents, he's given another loophole that allows him to continue never growing up forever!
Another example: Danny Phantom, my beloved. Boy becomes a superhero, but the catch is that his power is to switch to a transitionary state between life and death at will. Constantly fighting a losing battle against invaders from the afterlife hell-bent on wreaking vengeance on Earth. Another great idea; maybe one that teaches it's younger audience about how to cope with loss, how to deal with grief. Our hero has a perpetual Sword of Damocles hanging over his head, and his parents don't even recognize the monster he's become when he "goes ghost!"
But he's just Ghost Spiderman. Spiderman with ghost powers instead of spider powers. All that symbolism in the premise feels somewhat wasted when none of it is used to send a message.
Butch Hartman managed to coast for years by developing concepts which seem outwardly deep, but which aren't developed past the surface level. But now that his shows have run their course, and he's forced to come up with something new, we begin to realize just how shallow he's always been.
