Musings on a wind ensemble concert band production show thing, by an Uncultured Swine :)

They all wear black. I think it's to show off all the instruments, cuz shiny. And what the heck are those pointy neck collar things called?

A good conductor looks like a wizard. French horn players look like they're constantly trying to  fish something out of their instrument. Flutes sound, sit, and think they're birds. You can't be small and play a Tuba or you look ridiculous. Percussionists are in a constant state of either boredom or frantic. To play a Bassoon you need to make a frog face. Baby Tubas are cute. Oboes are played with a straw. Trombones sound cool but sit in the back and you can't see them. Trumpets think they're the coolest thing since jazz. Saxophones are all chill and smooth. Clarinets are generally quiet then pull a sneaky cool thing and look all smug. Piccolos are flutes for mice.

The music was good. I guess. I really couldn't tell either way but I liked it!
