Just a friendly reminder it is OK to read slowly. It’s perfectly acceptable to have read one book a week or month or year!
I’ve seen a handful of posts wondering how people read so fast and in comparison they feel like can’t keep up with everyone else.
We all live different lives! It’s okay for your work schedules, school, kids, or just life in general to get in the way of your reading time! It happens :))
Reading challenges are fun and so is discussing books with others. But at the end of the day reading is a personal experience so yall do what works for YOU and have no fears of what you’re missing out on. You’ll get around to that TBR eventually and we’ll all still be here waiting to discuss your reads!
Every year past when I read 182 books, nothing had seemed up to par! But it’s okay as long as I enjoy the books I read. Reading isn’t to impress others, or to live up to a quota, it’s for fun!
Happy reading, gals! <3
