i will be satisfied when: i have a little house off-the-grid, by the water, with some chickens, some bees, and a big enough garden to feed myself and my family.
take me outside. i'm interested in sustainable design, philosophy, writing, and any and all kinds of gardening. i'm a sailor, and am most at peace in, on or around the water. it's my happy place. i often find myself despairing at the state of the world and how easily it could change if people didn't have a vested interest in it's destruction. i'm trying hard to be less pessimistic, and instead focusing on what i can do to change the things that piss me off.
my days consist mainly of books, board sessions, filling notebooks, daydreams, hikes, gardening, tumbling, hanging with a few close friends, singing too loudly, laughing too much, playing guitar and, alternately, making a mess of and sorting out my life.

I used to think I was being too picky but fuck that. I deserve someone who wants to know about me. It may sound silly but I don’t wanna be out here fucking with people who never ask my favorite color or if I ate today. I deserve someone who wants to hear my dreams just as much as I want to hear theirs. I deserve the same energy and effort I release. Fuck that.
