Here’s the third go at the ‘toon version of War of the Worlds’ idea, returning to the Mickey Mouse influence. Nets that resemble the ears are where the humans are stored. The nose is the heat Ray that scorches and ashes up the land causing the world to appear black and white.

This one is done in similar vain to the previous drawing: a toony direction with the Tripod design, but subtracting the Mickey Mouse influence. The goal of the aliens 👽 would be to turn the world into a cartoony place (think, how the world of the Bendy & The Ink Machine games looked).

Public Domain Kingdom Hearts Idea

One idea of mine to use Public Domain (PD) properties (Mickey/Steamboat Willie for instance) is basically Kingdom Hearts, only PD. Characters such as Gertie the dinosaur, Felix the Cat, etc. (and not only limited to the PD cartoons). Going to places like The 100 Acre Wood, Wonderland, Neverland, Oz, Maple White Land, etc.

The working title for the idea is “Sailing Hearts”, as a play on Kingdom Hearts obviously, with also referring to their means of going to the different places being the Steamboat Willie.

Story would follow, Alice, of the Alice Comedies, with Mickey and Oswald (and/or Popeye too cause he goes PD next year) going about trying to stop The Corruption (corruption idea by @guthrie-odonto) from assimilating the other worlds to feed off them.

That’s about all that idea has developed so far w/ this merely being one way I’d go about it w/ using the PD mouse.

To 2023!

Welp, this year's almost over.

The biggest thing about this year I'd say, apart from graduation, is not me making a deviantart account to also show off my creations on, but the fact that this year was the year I first got into contact with @artmakerproductions (and then @owoiwonderwhatsthis through him). As shocking as it was when Artmaker first came to me asking about a potential art trade, It ended up being so great knowing both of them–and what's better is with Artmaker's parodiverse, Eli having her own parodiverse version of Kamen Rider (Kamen Hoppa), and me having my own Godzillaverse inspired by Artmaker's godzillaverses that I then made original, that means we kinda have our own Big Three like the Toku 3 of Godzilla, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider! Not to mention all the other fun ideas we've talked about and helped each other develop.

Here's to 2023, and a creative 2024!
