Yes, I drew this on one layer for the most part! I did make a few finishing touches using two layers on paint.net, but I don't think it compares with the whole art, which was drawn on 1 layer.

#my art #artists on tumblr #submas #subway bosses #subway boss emmet #subway boss ingo #gender bender #r63 #if you have ever drawn f!submas and you see this - you're a really cool person and also thank you #i also wanted to throw in my interpretation of girl submas. they're kinda cool and androgynous in a traffic cone way y'know? #also if you haven't noticed this: i made their ponytails triangle-shaped! because these guys' design is already pretty triangular #so i decided to add another triangular element #<- who am I talking to :p #anyway... drawing this made realise how much cooler subway bosses are as women #there's just something about their 'intimidating boss' first appearence and silly traffic cone coats and muppet mouths- #-that works even better if they're ladies #to me at least #i think pokemon needs to do better with their female character design <3 gen 9 is really good in that department but they should continue! #dial down the hyper femminity of every single female character while they're at it also (i'll never forget what they did to may's design in #-the remakes)
