I feel like the riptide pirates are looking at Gillions prophecy all wrong. Including Gillion.

The prophecy states that through the choices the chosen one makes one will remain land or sea.

Theyre all acting like it'll be that Gillion has to press a button or tick a box but I don't think it's just one decision.

Every choice Gillion makes takes him closer to one fate or another. Even the act of telling Chip and Jay the prophecy had influenced the outcome.

So Chip getting mad and being like "so what you gonna choose????" Is so dumb. Little bastard man. (Still love him) because it's not that simple. If it was anyone could be the chosen one there wouldn't even need to be a chosen one. Anyone can just choose and that'll be that.

My theory so far is that Gillion was a "Stand in" Chosen one. Meaning he is a fake but they couldn't disclose that to anyone as it could spread to the over world and put a target onto the REAL Chosen one.

I feel like Edyn knows this though. Which is heartbreaking.

This is a very thin theory with not a lot of evidence but I think it would be so interesting.

"Finding out about another chosen one? That would destroy him!" Oh yeah Chip???? How about Gillion finding out his whole LIFE and PURPOSE was a lie.

It's also weird that Edyn was completely silent when Chip asked if there was a second chosen one.
